  1. Got plans from my brother for the CNC router, probably going to be buying the steel for it the end of this week or next.
  2. The power hour at midnight last night kinda sent it over the edge...
  3. Had a hangover this morning, but I suppose thats what I get for doing 15hrs of continuous drinking...
  4. Not sure one of my roommates has ever had a hangover. I've known him for 3 years and I think since he moved in here in june he has drank more in the past 2 months than the previous 23years, and he is a complete lightweight.
  5. Did you download a file recently that was a virus?
  6. Holy crap, that sucks.
  7. Being put in the middle of female drama that I had no fucking part in except for having the name Ryan for the mother fucking lose. I've already been called and apologized to but I think I'm going to try to milk this thing for dinner, beer, and some home made food. women=bat shit crazy.
  8. Bout time to pass out actually.
  9. Ok, so maybe I'm drunk....
  10. Hmmm, I might be more drunk that I think but still somewhat sober so yea...
  11. Holy shit, friends birthday, been drinking since noon, and its now 3:15am, and I'm still not completely drunk...
  12. Excited to finally do a quality car audio install in a vehicle that is actually worth putting some time in on.
  13. It appears I'll have almost everything (minus sub, not worried about it) needed for my budget SQ system in the Caddy soon so as soon as my Chilton's get here I'm looking into tearing the dash apart on the beast.
  14. Make your own RCA's and wire loom?
  15. all of a sudden? what did you change. Tom, Kent, & Ryan can all attest to the noise floor on mine. Noise? what noise?
  16. What?! The cabling run (co-ax) from one side of the shop to the other is f'ed up somehow and a Linear Variable Displacement Transducer (thing to measure change in length for testing purposes) was reading non-linear when it was still good. The Flex Test server is a server style box with a bunch of cards in it for reading all the different signals and interpreting them so you can run tests using the hydraulic actuators. *MTS is a company that makes the testing gear, Flex Test is their line of software setup that we have* Its the controller setup for 150,000lbs of push Making a linear variable displacement transducer non-linear is amusing. AC-AC type or AC-DC?? AC-DC, I cheated and didn't feel like running cables today so I just ran it through a unused set, I am running input through cables marked output, the electrons are going to be pissed at me.
  17. Cabling runs going bad is a pain in the arse, especially when it means LVDT's go non-linear. Hell of a lot easier to fix than the card in the MTS Flex Test server going bad though.
  18. Don't know what I did to my right foot, but it hurts to walk. Tired and slightly sore otherwise, but hey, its friday.

Those look like nice stands, although I can't find a price on them anywhere. *edit* I found them on BH photo, they appear to be about 100$ for a pair of them, not a bad price I suppose if they are a decent construction.
  20. Is it wrong that as soon as I get a house with a garage a 60's Fiat 1500 convertible goes in it and I am going to hot rod it? I think there is something inherently wrong with trying to hot rod a factory 75hp 4cyl, but what the hell.
  21. I need a bigger toolbox... such a problem to have. Also need a house with a garage I can actually work on something in.

Do you have any particular design/color/theme in mind? You could make them yourself or have someone else make them for you.
  23. Basically, woman is a dumbass. Scooter stops working. She walks it to the shop, without even calling the shop to see if they would even work on it. She is to stupid to ask any of us if there is an easier way to get it there other than walking. She gets all pissy about it. She is a dumbass.
  24. I work with a woman who has her head shoved up her ass (whats new right?). She has a moped for getting around town, nothing unusual there... It stops working right, fuel issues is what I have surmised. I tell her I can fix it, but don't have time right now and it might be a week or two before I can start cussing it. She goes on how she needs it and what not so she finds an automotive place close to campus where the scooter is. She gets the address and walks the scooter there, goes in to ask when they can work on it. They tell her they might have some guys who can fix it, but they don't have time anytime soon. Meanwhile before she started walking the scooter there, she calls me and asks me if I can pick her up from there; I said yes, its on the way from buying the amp, not a problem. I'm there waiting for her when she gets there walking/pushing/riding this thing and goes inside to talk to them. She walks out in almost in tears and then realizes that she might have wanted to call first to see if they could actually fix it instead of just walking it there and assuming. Then she goes back in tears on how she has to walk it back uphill a mile to the shop. She had neglected to realize that we have to go RIGHT by the damn shop this afternoon with a suburban and trailer to get some cement and could have put it on that, put it in the back of the suburban, put it in the back of a ford explorer, towed it with the other moped, etc, etc. She felt she had to walk it though...
  25. I now own a 4ch PPI 4240 amp in average condition for 25$.
