Thanks for the help on the lights guys. I finally got the damn problem fixed, a cheap ass POS chinese made ring terminal on a ground broke... It was broke, yet it was still in the right spot so it was dumb luck that I found it.

yikes, but I'm sure if anything serious was leaking out, they'd be getting everyone out of there Eh, its a little reactor.

What year is it? GM is using circuit boards for the LED tailights and many of them are problematic. This was a huge issue on older Trail Blazers. Check with a dealer on yours, there may be a TSB on it. Its a 1996. Are there any TSB's listed on the internet?

Damn taillights stopped working this morning in the Cadillac, no brake lights, rear turns, LED light bar, nothing on the arse end. Haven't found any blown fuses yet either.

Looks to me like the sheet metal on the hood of that Civic just got riped of the hood frame. Definately ouch. The painted top side of the hood was glued on... the glue sucks.- Welcome to the IHoP

Part of the roof on the engg building atrium is gone, a corner of the building the nuc reactor is in is gone, but I'm not about to go tour that. The reactor I hear is a mess and I know they don't want people strolling through there...- Welcome to the IHoP
Pssst, try Ottumwa. That place is SO bad that it is the only John Deere factory that you can not transfer out of unless you get a promotion out of it and another plant wants you, and then the people will fight it unless it is a completely legit promotion.- Welcome to the IHoP
Needless to say I'm taking my camera to work tomorrow.- Welcome to the IHoP
Went and drove around with a friend and surveyed the damage, much against my wishes the math building still exists on campus, it appears the engg building is messed up some but can't see much, they sealed campus off since there were power lines down. Ice storm week of finals in December, hail storm last week, this today, storms quite a bit, been floods in parts. Global warming anyone?- Welcome to the IHoP
Thats a badass PSU.- Welcome to the IHoP
To me coasting in neutral is a horrible practice to learn, if you ever drive a semi or big truck you HAVE to use engine braking otherwise your fucked.- Welcome to the IHoP
I engine brake, coasting is hard on brakes. Engine breaking also shuts off the injectors. Throwing it into Neutral will remove all ability to accelerate in emergency situations. I was about to post about the accelerate in emergency, and the brakes issue. But was wondering if anyone else would add their .02$ I don't think the brakes are at all an issue. Automatic cars do just fine stopping without going through brake pads all the time. And engine braking just causes more wear on the clutch, which is definitely more expensive to replace than pads. If the clutch doesn't slip, would it wear more than just regular driving? Coasting would be fine on brakes as long as you don't try it in hilly country. If you try that in mountains or anything you are going to be in a world of hurt.- Welcome to the IHoP
Maybe its just all the worn out vehicles I've driven that it is pretty easy to go from neutral to reverse.- Welcome to the IHoP
Well, it has passed it appears. - Welcome to Kansas!
