  1. So who wants to join me in opening a custom fab shop doing everything from furniture to audio?
  2. This is gonna be a hell of an entertainment center when I'm done, it'll probably weigh about 70-100lbs without the TV on it. Needless to say if I was custom building this for someone it would be a 800$+ piece.
  3. Can't decide if I want to go with one or two pivot points on the side to side travel, on the tilt there will be a pivot point and a screw jack for adjustment. The one Logan and I build we made half moon style adjusting clamps for the tilt, the screw jack and pivot blocks design of mine should be vastly superior.
  4. It isn't just me that goes overboard on building things, its the whole dang family.
  5. When in doubt, build 'er stout.
  6. The one my brother made held 170lbs without anything breaking, and it wasn't fully welded either, and it has like a 2.5' reach on it too.
  7. So instead of studying, I'm drawing up the plans for my custom TV mount. TV mount rated for 150+lbs anyone?
  8. Sports Fans??
  9. Hmm, can't get torrents to work in the library, changed ports too. Damn.
  10. That reminds me of Family Guy...
  11. Don't currently plan on doing that one....
  12. I figured they were, I'll hit this thing up with the engraver at work tomorrow then to put my name/phone in there. Where abouts are you engraving? Bottom of it, probably the center/front of it.
  13. Hmmm, not a clue, never heard of such a monster.

  15. But yea, that trunk is fricking HUGE! You could fit a half dozen bodies in that thing.
  16. we could fit quite a few of those in the back seats of a Chevelle and an Impala The Chevelle isn't up for a road trip. I will completely redo the brakes before it makes a road trip that far, putting the AC back in it would be nice too. I have a feeling when I make a true road trip in a Chevelle will be when I own my own, whether it is Dad's current one, or a different one who knows.
  17. Kind of an odd question, but I figured I'd ask before I did this. Sean. Would engraving on a laptop casing have any adverse affects to the HDD or anything? I'm not sure if the vibration is enough to do anything or not? Its a Thinkpad T61p, and I get it replaced if I break it but thought I'd ask before I did it.
  18. hell, I've even got a shit ton of 10" pa speakers and whatnot to play with, along with 4kw of pro amp power, and a DCX unit I would bring.
  19. I'd love to be able to make it up there.
  20. Tom, when you going up to the great white north?
  21. We SERIOUSLY need to have a campus that allows beer. If there was a lounge area in the engineering build that had a good full size slate pool table, couches and allowed beer, I wouldn't ever leave. Hell, if only 60% of the time I'm actually doing something, but I'm there allllll the time, I'd still get more done, and be a lot happier doing it.
  22. http://www.exfactory.com/detail.asp?recnum...0&numPics=3 Someone please buy me this.
  23. Will $250 get me something that'll support my amps? I don't see why not...
  24. And no, I'm not sure why the middle shelf doesn't look level, it actually is.
  25. 250$ and a 2 week wait time.
