Good luck with constant rpm in a car and actually selling it. If you could force a user to do constant rpm in gas then the efficiency of that motor and emissions would shock you at how good it was. I thought someone already had that in a car using the gas engine as only a generator like a locomotive?

Neal, I use Winchester Ranger T's in the 147gr flavor for SD rounds for 9mm. I've been able to buy quantities of them that allows for practice with it at a reasonable cost and and have tested them through automotive glass and had very good results and performance.

I don't think I've even seen 12k rounds of .22lr in the last year in stores.

I'd have gone with a 9mm, but that is just me. I like standardization, and I've got most in 9mm and around here .45 is 50%+ more expensive than 9mm.

My buddy loves his and has me ready to try one. Look into the S&W M&P Shield. If you have big hands you may prefer the 2+ round clip. It is fantastically reliable, very comfortable, and not fatiguing in the least for such a small, light handgun. I have one, and am considering it in a .40S&W for a little more knock down power. My wife loves the 9, and wants it when I snag my .40. I am going to go look after haunt season. I will look into them Seth. I do like my Glocks.
