So what I gathered from your post is that you would like to replace the current woofer from your HTIB with something that is louder, but still use the same enclosure? You would have a lot easier time getting what you want if you could tell us your room size and budget. Also, a house sub stage is not as easy to get as loud as a car.

I don't know about the junkyards around your area, but around home I theres one that you just sit down, talk to the lady working (name of Missy) and tell what you want, you don't even have to know the actual name, but she can find it for you. Works slick as shit.
