Personally, BIB's are quite fricking awesome. What I would do for the dorm is a 10/12" and a Horn setup for mains, (surround sound is forgotten. (pointless especially in something like a dorm room). The main part I found out in the dorm is getting loud and sounding half ass decent. Period. For a 10/12" I would look for something that goes up to the 2-5kHz range then have a horn tweeter in there, get absurdly loud and have plenty of kick for whatever crzzy ass females get in your room wanting to dance. Believe me, it will happen. I've only had experience with the Eminence 12" LTA drive in an BIB config, but I don't really have any problems with the sound so it work fine with a aifrly decent budget.

fudge me, the headband on my Sennheiser HD580's ic cracked,. I guess thank god for the steel hadeband in it as well. Possibly time for some 2= part epoxy as wlel.

Anyone know anything about projectors, and one possibly under that 3 grand mark that would be used for roughly a 7' screen or so. *Basement use with about a 9-10' ceiling*

I shot some pistol today, and have a basement audio room to work on for a friend. Budget is about 5k, and it is going to be a projector setup, everything else is up to me. going 5.1 surround sound, haven't figured much past that yet.

It won't fit in the mini fridge, and one of my roommates will flip out if I move everything around and put it in the regular fridge.

Crap. I have to go out and buy a trash can and ice for the keg now.

Good night, went to a professors for his house breaking in party. Came back with the remainder of the pony keg of Fat Tire, and the all likelihood of another full pony keg of Fat Tire come monday or tuesday as well.
