Found the cutout on the XT19 at 1.4" or 35mm And I've got the frames figured out too I think.

I can coat them in SS Spectrum True. I'm debating on building them out of steel or wood, can't decide. If the hole diam on the tweet isn't to odd I can make them out of steel easy enough and just TIG weld it for chits and giggles.

Theres several ways I can go about making this mount, I'm kinda worried about it resonating... But I guess I could build some extra and send them to Sean for testing.

Well, the main thing was that i wasn't sure how i was going to mount them. But if i have someone who knows what they're (you) doing helping me, it wont be such an issue. No one ever said I knew what I was doing in a car, I just have built a lot of things and basically get all my jollies out of custom fabrication. Any excuse to make something I've never done I'll take.

Tom, shoot me some specs on the tweeter and hole spacing on the mid. The depth of the tweeter, cutout diam, etc, or a link to the spec sheet on them would work too and I draw some stuff and run it by you. That sound alright?

One of my match pistols was made in the USSR. Ugly pistol, shoots like a dream though. If it involved looking pretty, it didn't get done, if it involved the shooting ability of the gun they made it a quality part.

Hell, depending on the room available I think I could even make them pivot able so you could change the angles without to much effort I think.

Perhaps you should sell those as options here. If someone gives me plans or diameter/hole spacing I could do them pretty easy, I've got a good idea on a easy way to go about making them, plus I would enjoy the challenge. If someone wants to try them out I would do the first pair or two for next to nothing for any of the main members on this board as long as I got honest feedback on how they work and the quality of them. I could make them out of steel or wood or a combination of both. If anyone is interested feel free to post up or PM me.

I have an Appreciation of Architecture test tomorrow afternoon. Motivation level: None existent. Ability to pass: High, easily a 75-80% without studying.

Theres a good audio shop in Hays? That kinda surprises me, but I guess it is the biggest town in like a 150mi radius... We should go check it out sometime though. Do a 3-way active setup, with 8's or 10's for midbass duty. We need to work in that Tahoe, and do something to Sam's car as well.
