  1. Its 6hrs ahead of my current time, and my time zone is set properly.
  2. Is there a reason the time stamps on posts is all sorts of wrong for me?
  3. Thats awesome.
  4. Hows that service work for you down there? Do you get service in rural areas too? I'm on Sprint, contract is up in November and I'm wanting something cheaper.
  5. I didn't watch, but I did tour the Case combine plant up in NE last year, pretty neat.
  6. Its been years since I've drove one, but its hard to not love blasting across snow where there aren't roads.
  7. Only good thing about winter is I get to drive sideways.
  8. If you've got a 14mpg gasser and a 20mpg diesel, every 5,000 miles you'd save 254$. Now of that 254 take out another lets say 54$ for easy math for the extra money it costs for oil changes of the $$ filter and 14 quarts of oil. So you save 200$ for every 5,000 miles. Now lets say you drive 20,000 miles a year, you save 800$ a year. I don't know about you, but thats a long ass time to save the 5-10k purchase price premium of a gas vs diesel equivalent F-250/2500 truck. Not to mention the additional cost of parts/maintenance. If you need the diesel for towing, by all means get it. Or if you just want it to roll smoke and have a diesel hobby, sure. Mileage? Naaa.
  9. Newer ones don't get much better mileage. Plus maintenance costs are more than the gassers and the 10k or so price increase.
  10. If we follow linear progression.... I'd be in a cave.
  11. That's awesome.
  12. One final bumpy road and it never started the car again.
  13. The battery in it was a trooper though. It was tagged as replaced in '01 and lasted till August of '13.
  14. Yep, its got the 3.1L, and already have done the damn intake manifold gasket.
  15. To me it seems age is the bigger killer than miles. The W's car is a '99 Lumina, we got it in 2012? with 51,000 miles on it, still has same issues I'd expect if it had 175,000 mi.
  16. I want a '96 Impala SS. To dang much money though so the next car will probably be a Crown Vic.
  17. Yay, snowing here this morning.
  18. Kansas liquor laws are crap.
  19. You can only buy 3.2 beer here in grocery stores. They changed the city ordinance to allow Sunday liquor sales here till 8pm a few years ago, its great.
  20. I was organizing/labeling tap drawers last week and was asked if I was a little OCD.
  21. I've never seen coffee machines on craigslist here.
  22. I was linked to that off another forum earlier today.
  23. 8 cylinders can get more HP for less fuel. But they don't revv to 8250 RPM and the don't sound like that. Sure they'll rev to 8k... just not factory.
  24. Happy Birthday Sean!
  25. Quote of the day at work. "Got any Ibuprofen?" "Yea, I drink to much to not carry any."
