Eraserhead is a weird movie.

Haven't really put to much effort into the 2-way setup yet, but I want to do something higher end, no skimping. Oh, the base will be bigger, its not quite to scale, but I do like the sand filling idea. Of course the arm/enclosure/base will all be bolted together (studs and set up so you can't see any hardware) so you can take it apart for transport. That way I could make the bases as heave as I wanted.

Not entirely sure how I want to make the bent mount. I see two options, the easy way that will look nice, and the harder way that will look even better. 1. 1.5" thick slab of either ply with veneer or actually do a hard wood slab and just lay the curve out and cut it on a bandsaw. 2. Slight modification of the design and do steam bending.

Heres my idea, basically a floor mounted TM design with a 'different' looking enclosure/stand design. It would all be veneer in cherry or birdseye maple, or variations of such types of Nice looking hard woods. Opinions on how god awful ugly it is?

I came up with a new design for some kickass looking *I think* home speakers these past couple days and actually have drawn it out halfass today while burning an hour. Anyone have any extra CD players laying around? I need one to put back in my S-10, no functionality is really needed, mp3 capabilities is preferred though.

The first time I used it on wood I couldn't believe how easily it dented. It took me a second to realize why. Wouldn't bother me to much, more looking for scrap resistance so all that I would need is adhesion, but who cares, they are party speakers and will be sold as such.

Ok, I'm looking for a durable way to finish my BIB's and need some ideas. I'm looking at roll-on truck bed-liner for them, and was wondering what is the cheapest? I just need something to protect them from being beat around as party speakers seeing how I'm looking to sell them. *Preferably water proof* Suggestions?

You shoulda seen them when I was prototyping them and everything was connected with banna plugs, I had like a half dozen plugs for one set of crossovers.

When your bored, have some big f'ing speakers, not a whole lot of power to work with, and once again, get bored and need something new to do.... They got DAMN loud. you could hear the words to any song audibly 150+ yards away, LFE dissipated rather quickly, but I figured that was going to happen.
