  1. The local manhattan online auction site has some QSC and Crown amps up there.... Hoping I can snag the PLX series QSC ones... There is a ton of DJ stuff on there.... Technics 1200 MKZ turntable, mixer boards, rack mount CD players, shure mics, cases, monitors....
  2. This place is fricking dead. Tumbleweeds are common around here.
  3. My old truck that got made into an irrigation engine... no pics of it acutally in the field but it sitting by the shop. Driveshaft came out the back and hooked to the pump head.
  4. Thanks for the info!
  5. Just got back from the wedding, the number of single people there was between slim and none, and slim was leaving town. Had a blast though! Got down there friday night drank some beer (Boulvard Brewery Pale Ale = nasty) went to the wedding early, got photos taken. Wedding was a nice short catholic one, under an hour so that was good. After the wedding went to one of the bridsmades houses and played pool and drank beer for ~5hrs, then went to the party at the hotel. I've got to say it, mexicans know how to party. I didn't understand 3/4 of the songs that were played but it was a good time, danced some, talked some, and drank some. One of my friends and I polished off 2.5 bottles of champange (it was free and they were carding at the bar). Overall didn't get laid, so that was a bad part but we drank, danced, and talked so it was a good time. One of the best weekends I've had in quite awhile.
  6. *goes to find the flask and my only hard liquor around, Crown*
  7. Open bar though (only with one keg though), and we are bringing beer to the hotel with us so there should be plenty of alcohol to get some females drunk.
  8. I plan on trying to get some, but I was told there will be very few single ladies there.
  9. About ready to head out for a wedding... Should be a very fun weekend.
  10. I've heard some people say they are good, then I've heard people say the suck too. It is the chittiest thing about living out here in the sticks, no one has anything audio to listen to.
  11. Just buy a real drill with a minimum of 14.4v
  12. I owned a pair of CDT EF-61's, never got around to installing them though, lol.
  13. Eh, it is a true budget amp. I had one, the longer I had it, the less I thought it put out the power it was supposed to. I would not really reccommend one to anyone.
  14. $150??? ...this thing is $89 @ Home Depot. I click the buy online button and came up with a 150 price tag...
  15. I put about 11.5 hrs on the clock today. I'm done. Later ya'll
  16. I actually have to cook now when I'm in manhattan... damn.
  17. Mmmm Margaritas. I haven't had those since new-years.
  18. Ya'll ruin me...
  19. Going to a wedding this weekend, it should be fun as hell... Short catholic wedding, then a night of drinking and partying ensues...
  20. 150 bucks, there is no way I would touch that thing. My advice is to spend ~100$ and buy yourself a Ryobi or Craftsman 18-19.2v drill or somewhere in that range and you will be more than happy with it. With a 500rpm no load speed and only 80in lbs of torque, it just dosen't have much at all in the way of power. 500rpm will not drill a hole very fast at all. Save yourself some money and cursed lack of power and buy a real drill.
  21. How many Dayton Ref's would you need, I've got some extra 7's laying around that could be had for a lower cost (used of course).
  22. Ok this summer I'll have access to the school rec wed-fri evenings (during the school year, anytime) and I'm looking to get in better shape. I'm currently 5'9" ~140lbs. I have not lifted before, but I have grown up working on a farm so my lack of size isn't exactly from not doing anything. I shoot Olympic (International) style competition pistol and I want to get into better shape for that. My goal this year is for NCAA Collegiate All-American status and possibly a spot on the USA National Team depending on how the year goes. I am not looking for just building mass here, I am looking more for endurance that kind of thing. The pistol stuff I'm shooting is entirely shoulder work, it is standing and shooting using my right arm outstreached at a target ranging from 10m to 50m. What I'm looking for is for someone to help point me in the right direction for what kind of workout to start doing. I've got a bike for cardio (gotta get the new wheels but that won't take much, just some $$$) since I'm not to fond of running. I've got friends to help me at the rec, but what I need is some guidlines for what lifts to do and soforth. Any help here is appreciated! -Ryan
  23. I can wait till you make some more money... Or I could build the Imp horns and you could install them in your house. Wouldn't the wife approve of a fridge sized 400lb speaker box?
  24. You give me some money for the house and I'll buy it... Deal?
  25. Oh I want to, but the sad part is if I do I'll want to put it in the house in Manhattan. There is not enough room for it in there, nor the house here at home... It will have to sit in the woodshop or garage untill I sold it, traded it, or got a house big enough for it. But damn that would be kickass woodshop stereo.
