  1. Got a wedding to go to next weekend, and I don't have chit for clothes for it. My slection of nice clothes is between slim and none.
  2. Don't just double or tripple layer it, use a swiss-cheese style bracing in a matrix style bracing setup.
  3. Thank god its friday.
  4. The box isn't sturdy enough then...
  5. Wow...
  6. Aaron, keep reminding me about that DVD!
  7. How crappy are these? http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/WH7...l+Wheelset.aspx I do not want to spend more than 150-200 on wheels for the bike.
  8. Can you list some good bike forums for me to look around on? I'm not gonna find any in the local papers around here, pretty much no-one rides and if they have one its a 85$ wal-mart one.
  9. Sean, where are some good places to be looking for used wheel sets?
  10. I am tried as hell.
  11. Big ass porch + turret = win!
  12. Can you reuse spokes? Is there anything hard about changing out a wheel either, or do I just need a spoke tool and have at it... Would it be alright if I went to a wider tire/wheel as well to make it easier on myself finding new stuff? (Going to change front and rear while I'm at it)
  13. I remember seeing something on the mach 5 audio testbed site of someone making a recliner chair out of a 18" enclosure...
  14. fudge. Having troubles finding 26x2.0 tires as well. Damn this oddball bike, but for free what do I expect....
  15. Interesting looking driver there Sean.
  16. Its no problem, it ain't all that far to the garage, plus it gets me off my skinny arse. Instead of f'ing around and putting the rim on myslef and having to screw with spokes and what not, I think I'll just take it to the bike shop in manhattan and let them deal with it, hopefully they don't want to much money!
  17. I went out and counted the spokes. I got 36 three times.
  18. Thanks for the info Sean... Now to just find a rim thats got 36 holes drilled in it... When I find some they say 36H, does the H stand for anything?
  19. Link didn't quite work right. By traditional rear brake do you mean cantilever style or old school? Also do you have a 28, 32, or 36 spoke hub? (32 is std, but I am rough and usually upgrade to 36, if you break rims regularly it is a good idea too). Depends on your budget as well. I have had good luck with Mavics in the past. http://www.jensonusa.com/store/sub/143-Rim...ips.aspx?s=1649 What is on there now is a 36 spoke Matrix 550 wheel. The brakes are the traditional cable squeezes two brake pads agains the rim style. *pic of the bike* http://www.fisherbikes.com/images/bikes200...lls/advance.jpg
  20. Don't have to worry about cross talk in that fella...
  21. That is good to hear ramos!
  22. Sean, I need a new rim, and rear brake pads on my bike, any recommendations as to what brand to get? Also, any recommendations as to what brands to look at for upgrades for the rear brake assemebly, its a traditional style pads on the rim brake setup. I have one of these... http://www.fisherbikes.com/bikes/bike_deta...mp;bike=Advance
  23. You sir, are an evil man for posting that link...
  24. All this talk about bikes, I need to buy a new rear rim for mine, and redo the rear brakes too.
