Anyone know about a Kicker 80ss?? I hadn't seen one before and wondered how old it was. I don't know anything about what RF amps are desired but there is also a Punch 360 and a 160x.

So it appears I'm bidding on a US Amps USA-300, Audiocontrol Three.1, and an Epicenter. For chits and giggles to see if I can get them cheap.

My boss's son did that to start out with years ago... He finally ended up with a 1/4million dollar toy S-10, full carbon fiber lift off body, 2,000 some odd horsepower, 17x.x mph in the 1/8th mile. Look up Todd Suhling and Tiny Mite... He started out with a v8 in an S-10, everyone laughed at him cause it wouldn't go for chit. He bought a dully kit from JC Whitney and was able to hook, then everyone quit laughing and started trying to keep up. He has been doing it with an S-10 ever since, he can't race anymore on the tracks though. IIRC he now has like a '67 Firebird with 700-800hp for his go fast car

Just found an Audiocontrol Three.1 and an Epicenter at a local auction place here, along wiht some other stuff, might have to go to this.

small block swap? No, I don't have the ~5k that it would take to do that right. I'm thinking I can do a cam/intake/exhaust/stall for under a grand easy. Not going to be the highest quality stuff, but hell its a beater truck that never goes farther than ~300miles from home *and its got 160k on the ticker already*. Another vote against the smallblock swap is it being a 4x4 and IIRC you have to screw around with notching the oil pan. I also don't want to have to replace the rear end from breaking it when I hook up.

pics of said truck! Picture a black 89 S-10 4x4, extended cab, rusty wheels, typical S-10 rust on every body panel but two (those got replaced when the old woman pulled infront of me and got hit), always dirty, but the interior is nice. Speaking of my truck, now after going to the mustang cruise I want to put 1.6 ratio rockers and a torque converter in it, and actually get around to fixing the rust and painting the damn thing this summer. I think I can do the body work for under 800 bucks and then do a two tone black/silver paint job on it. It wouldn't be professional quality work, but it'd look a hella lot better.

I want to beat my roommate occasionally, he just bout a Yamaha receiver off of ebay, decent unit, mid 90's model probably. He just said it sounds great when he got it hooked up then I made the comment about now he needs some nice speakers. He said no hes just going to go to a pawn shop and get some but hes wants to upgrade receivers soon again. I was like WTF? Your willing to upgrade receivers but not do anything about the speakers? I've don't even bother anymore, I just keep my mouth shut.

There was a yellow drop top Saleen there that was totally Kickass.

Right around 50 cars at the Mustang cruise, most of them GT's and some Cobras, one Terminator cobra was there. There were also quite a few Camaros there, most on slicks and skinnies. It was pretty fun, got alot of photos although they are on film since I don't have a digital ya'll will have to wait.

Went to see a band at a local bar. It was a Ska band, never heard them before but I know the guy that played the keyboard and it was his last show so I went to it. It was pretty good, liked the music. Needless to say the whole time I was checking out the audio/visual setup, how everything was wired *that I could see* the lighting, etc, etc. I need a life...

Gonna go cruise with a friend in his 03GT, also going to a mustang cruise tommorow with him, gonna bring my good camera wiht me (alas its film, but it'll do).

Got asked if I was in the military today, just outa the f'ing blue a black dude at the mall looked at me and asked if I was in the military. I don't even look like I'm in the army, and the other day I got hit on while checking the air in my trucks tires (and I drive one ugly ass truck). Those are just 2 of the things, this is one Wierd ass week. That chit Never happens to me.

I don't remember where, but someone was selling off a bunch of the 300w bash amps cheap. Too bad that the PE sale on them isn't on anymore. I like the idea of investing a bit more in the sub and particularly the amp as it is easy to upgrade the receiver later. IIRC, mach5 is getting the 300w bash amps, just don't remember when.
