  1. Thank you sir.
  2. Ok 1. Prefabs suck. 2. "Cubes" is slang for a cubic measurement. (feet x feet x feet, a measure of volume) 1 cube = 1 ft^3 = 1 cubic foot = 1728 in^3 3. Box building isn't really all that complicated once you look at the basics. A sealed box is just a simple box with a hole in one side for the subwoofer. For a ported box, it is the same just with a vent for air to pass in and out of (the vent is calcuated to tune the box to a specific frequency (frequency is measured in hertz). 4. Driver displacement is just the amount of air that the subwoofer takes up in the box. *hope this helps*

  11. Just got outa the woodshop (No pictures for you picture whores) Workin on a quad Dayton Reference tower ~2.8 cubes ported to 40 hz, 16"^2 of port. I've got the hole cut for the tweet, and one woofer. The top and bottom glued on one of the sides. *Of course all the pieces are cut also* If I get work on it tommorow evening, I should be able to put some power to it late evening. This one is just a trial demo beater cabinet (MDF). I really didn't want to screw up with 60$ per sheet baltic birch ply. Rough dimensions are 4'x11"(deep)x9.5"
