  1. You forgot Sr20 on that list of AF audio people. And I help out when I can.
  2. When you have over 300k registered members on AF, there are alot of mods, and some are a little stubborn. *And your perfect???* I'm not even gonna bother to read the thread but were you perfectly civil in your arguments? Oh was it a one week trip to banlandia or what?
  3. And it is good to see that you are back ramos.
  4. If you are willing to learn, I don't call it ignorance. I call it a lack of experience. I am always willing..........its just sitting down to learn..........thats the part i gotta do. J You may tell yoruself that your learning by sitting down, but are you really learning or just looking at material? I've found the best way to learn something is to severely screw it up the first time, then fix it.
  5. If ya'll haven't seen this yet, thought you might find it interesting to check out. http://fresnoracing.ipbhost.com/index.php?...topic=30057&hl=

  7. OHHHHhhhhhh, Ok.
  8. Well, you dumbed it down enough for this hick to understand all of it. I can see how explaining what you do would be kinda hard.
  9. If your post is in reference to his long explanation he typed out for me, thats easy to understand. *but maybe thats because my dad is an ME, my brother is a senior in IE, and I'm a soph in EE...*
  10. Thank you for taking the time to write/type that out for me! Shanna's explanation may be easier for you, but not near as interesting for me.
  11. That video is very interesting. Thanks!!
  12. Interesting. If you don't mind, i've got a few questions... What type of applications does this apply to? Is this accoustics in theaters, vibration and stress analysis on buildings or what? I'm intrigued.
  13. I whole heartedly agree says the person who wants line arrays in a dorm room.
  14. Ummm, ///M5, where do you work? Or what do you do??

    Sweetness.
  16. 549 bucks for that little chickenchit sheet metal stand? I'd told them to kiss my arse too.
  17. Just. . . It's about number 3 on my list of guns to buy.
  18. So they suck at shooting...
  19. Its just a .50 cal...
  20. I know Jim, I reallllly want to make some line arrays. I think I'm gonna have to wait till a little later to be able to splurge on the full planars. *and be in an apartment* But what I think I'm going to do is rig up all 4 of my Dayton References in a TMMMM tower and see how much output it can have. Lord knows I've gots enough power on tap. But I still wanna sell my ART SLA-1 and buy an SLA-2. So many ideas and wants, but not enough hours in the day. Speaking of hours, my last paycheck had 107 hrs on it (2 weeks). Goverment took over 150 bucks of it .
  21. What I'm interested in is a case of those Fostex drivers that they have listed as 4 bucks a piece if you buy a case of 12. It says probably best used in free air. So I'm thinking splurge on a case, mount them on a board in an array fashion and see what happens?
  22. But this is a higher than average quality lumberyard too.
  23. Do you want to put felt or somethin inside compression chamber? And are you picky on the type of wire used to run inside it? I'm just tryin to get an idea here. Oh and I don't know how much plywood goes for up there, but at my lumberyard here it is somethin like 58 bucks for a 1/2" sheet of birch ply. *And I'm gonna need probably 4 sheets of 3/4" at 61 bucks a pop, ouch*
