I need to design/build a ported box for a 10" kicker comp VR for HT use... I have a DD 1008 in a sealed box hooked up right now... I guess you have to use what youve got.

I've got my gear set back up, new tubes installed, just need time to sit and listen to some tunes.

I've had teh dog for ever, she is 15 years old, deaf (completely, no joke), and has arthritis. She still manages to beg for food, chase cats, sleep, and be a pain in the arse sometimes. Dogs FTMFW!

I think it was tuesday or Late monday night when I ordered with paypal, and I got them today (thursday).

I need to make a ported box for an older 10" Kicker Comp VR that I've got lying around, maybe a ported box for the pair of them (HT use). Now I've just got to design one, unless someone wants to do it for me

Yay, Jim's gonna pay for me to come up. A flight from KCI will do, or just money for fuel will work also. But I think I'm gonna be in Colorado sunday, not sure yet. I got my PE order today, binding posts, banna plugs, 16ga wire, 13ga wire, my tubes (tubedepot.com, not PE), and bucking magnets *prays that they work*.

Just cause I like teh tubes, dosen't mean I know wtf I'm doing You've got to realize, I've only been into audio, heavily, for about a year. And I've already got a full rack gear setup for my house/dorm setup... Yikes.

My cheapo tubage setup is a Behringer T1953 tube preamp (rack gear). I want to hear what Jim's been talking about, and I enjoy screwing around with alot of different stuff. I think toward the end of this summer I'm going to buy one of the foreplay III (I think, I know its got foreplay in the name, Jim knows wtf I'm talking about) preamp kits to screw around with and see how I like it. As Thylantyr over on "the other forum" put it, it takes a bit of the edge off of a full SS setup. I like the way it sounds currently, it isn't to much of the "tube" sound I don't believe, but I"m realllllly anxious to get my new tubes (Ei Elite golds) in and see how much that changes things going from the factory behringer tubes to what I understand as some of the best 12AX7's there are. (Plus tubes look sweet.... )

I think I need to come up get up thataway in the country some time and hear this stuff that ya'll have. I'll be in ft. benning georgia in June, but that isn't to close.
