Yay, my music works again... Swapped to a different sound card and now its all good.

Part of the business cycle IMHO. So RE went mainstream, another company will come up and take its place.

They basically dumped the entire DIY crowd, but I don't think they'll be financially hurting from this decision. Not at all. Nope, the DIY crowed just isn't a very big pool once your talking mainstream... But theres plenty of other companies to keep the DIY crowd happy so I don't care one way or another. Its not like good subs for cheap don't exist anymore.

Yea, it'll work properly if I have it set on Mic instead of the Line, which I shouldn't have to do that.

My GD setup is screwing up... My preamp (Behringer T1953) is being gay, or my soundcard is being gay, one or the other. It adds this distortion to it unless I have it set on "Mic" instead of "Line" Its pissing me off, I've switched amp,s that isn't the problem, restarted my computer, rechecked all my connections... THIS DANG THING ISN'T WORKING RIGHT...... It was just working before I took a nap, got up, turned on the tunes, and now its being stupid.

Basically what I want is some towers that sound really good, are decently priced (for parts), something I can build/partially design, get Loud, be able to feel the guitar strings plucking in your chest. I found some klipsch towers in a local audio shop that were kinda what I wanted, got loud, sounded pretty good and I woulda been happy with them if I didn't enjoy building my own stuff. I'm just rambling here I think.

Should i change my ideas on my next project for my home audio setup?? I wish there was a damn easy button It was gonna be tripple AA mids w/ a K1 tweet off of madisoud crossed over at 2khz ported to 40hz. Now I'm really leanin on a 3 way w/ a 10" woofer in it, and have a seperate woofer tuned uber low for movies... What do ya'll think?

Last money order I sent for 130$ cost me under a dollar if I remember right, something real cheap. Just send it certified mail, it'll get there in under 3 days.

Where do you find the data on teh 2400w peak? All I've found in my manual and online is 2400w @4ohm at 1khz
