My fricking computer is pissing me off. First it was the graphics driver, now its the pucking sound card. DAMNIT IT. /rant It won't play both channels of audio, I've checked everything I know of and it still won't work. I'm getting kinda pissed now.

SKunk, if UPS can break a set of solid steel maincaps. A rotor is easy to break.

I think my coils came dislodged some how, looking at the coil through the frame of the sub, it dosen't look fried. It shows absolutly signs of heat damage or anything. If a coil is dislodged, is it possible to fix it?? Thanks -Ryan

Ok, I have a small question here. How are these things going to stack up to the Extremis?? I am gong to be constructing new mains for my home/dorm audio setup and I was planning on using 2 extremis per tower. How would these stack up to them, I'm thinking now that these are sounding better than the extremis? Ideas? Thanks for any input -Ryan

Just having troubles rememberin the drivatives of the trig functions d/dx sinx=cosx d/dx cosx=-sinx d/dx tanx=sec^2x d/dx cot=-csc^2x d/dx secx=sec(x)tan(x) d/dx cscx=-csc(x)cot(x) ^^^ is what I'm having trouble keeping straight, I'm alright on d/dx of sin, cos, tan, but the others are kinda messing w/ me. Other than that I think I'll do alright on this test (its Calc 1)

Sooo, I will probably end up buying one toward the end of next month since I have to make a trip out to colorado in april and thats gonna eat into my subwoofer budget. Damnit. I WANT BASS. Any ideas on cool stuff to do with a blown e8a?? What should I replace it with?? 1 RE 12" 1 RE 8" 1 Assassin 8" 1 Assassin 10" 1 RL-i 8" those are the current options I have right now. Opinions are welcome.

Well, I am/was using an e8a for sub duty in my dorm room. Well, playing nothing rediculus, it was working fine. Came back from lunch, turned on a little bass. Nothing. fudge. Soo, i pull it outa the box, i have came to the realization that one coil is screwed. I have one working coil on it, so I might just be using one coil till I get around to buying an Assassin 8...I wanted one of them, but now I have an excuse. holy crap. I liked this little woofer too. Is it possible to get a recone of it? Cliffnotes, One coil on my ED e8a is screwed, one works. Recone possible? Most likely buying an assassin 8 now. -Ryan

No kiddin, I just got my dorm equipment setup the way I want it. Now I see those assassin woofers at 55 a piece, want those. Need to buy 4 extremis, and the list goes on and on and on and on.
