Question for ya'll I think I'm gonna start competitng in Street Beat this summer with a guy i know. I will be using 2 kicker cvr's 10"s (cause I have them, thats the only reason I'll be using them). Which would be better, decware Wicked One, or a very good ported box. I might also be using a Type R in a TCAB box (yikes....) cause the guy I will be competing with is probably gonna get one for chits and giggles kinda. Since he is using his APX, he can't use the TCAB (plus, its a truck box, and well, I have a truck) Your opinon, Wicked one for the CVR's or a good ported?

The opposite is true for me and my dad. I'll do the woodworking, he'll do the electrical. Dad even admits I'm a better wood butcher than he is... Which is a good compliment in itself.

And also, with the sander its pretty easy to round over the edges where you don't want it, it dosen't happen with a router.

Since i turned 20
Its slicker than chit though, just chuck it in the router, flip the switch, make a few passes and its nice again. Oughta look into one, pretty nice bit to have.

Yes, keep it inverted. That looks pretty sweet too.

Router works better. Pretty hard to mess it up using a router too.

Welcome to the IHoP
I'm not near as worried about the ugliness anymore as finding enough weight to put on top of it. That thing bounces around like a mofo!!

Welcome to the IHoP
Naa, the plywood is good the way it is currently, The previous use is the reason why it is bowed in the middle, the Behringer amp isn't putting any weight really in the middle. All the wieght is carried by the knee braces and the 2x4 loft construction. Its sturdier than it looks

Welcome to the IHoP
My roommate thinks its kina excessive.... I don't play it too loud when hes in here, but when he leaves all hell breaks loose, and for the most part, we like the same types of music, which is good.

I got my crossover set up finally in my dorm and my sub (e8a) is up and running. Holy crap, it is insane. 1 Behringer EP2500 for the sub (e8a sealed at .4 cubes) 1 ART SLA-1 for the mains (Fostex FE103E BLH's) 1 Behringer T1953 Tube Preamp 1 Behringer CX 2310 crossover It gets kinda loud and crazy....

Ava18 Enclosure
Interesting, never care to think of chemistry outside of class, so I wouldn't have thought of that. I hate that class. Looks pretty fun though.
