Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I worry about electronics in professional equipment, then I think about all the wiring and gizmos in my 13yr old 188,000mi car that don't have issues and go "eh, it'll work".

Never had an issue with our 130, just a big damn trimmer.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I've got a FS130 at work, the line is old and been going through it like water. Picked up a blower at the Stihl place the other day and they had some new mixed line that I picked up. Should be running it this week to see how it works. I think its the CF3 line, he hadn't heard anything bad about it and they'd been selling it so we'll give it a go.

Typical shop air lines are typically 110-150psi, cuts aren't a rarity either. Death is only one part, eye injuries are another big one, blowing dirt off yourself is another good way. Couple CC of air out of a blow gun is only a very short burst. Going to happen to you in your lifetime, go buy a lottery ticket instead, but same reason I wear a seatbelt. That one saved my life once already.

Compressed air is flat out dangerous.

I don't recall seeing a drill chuck in it, so it uses collets. First step would be knowing what collets they are and having the full set to be able to run the proper drill bits. If it isn't set up for a drill chuck, that'll eat up almost all your Z axis room.

Even if you bought this mill, you'd sink another 1500 in basic tooling for it. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/tld/d/bridgeport-vertical-mill/6626461077.html

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
With very few exceptions, if you can lift a mill or lathe without any assistance, its crap.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
If its less than 5k, it'd be cheaper to just buy it.

I'm tailoring my 'ok' to the assumption it won't see much use and you aren't doing much with it...

The Rigid oscillating spindle sander and belt sander they sold at home depot was pretty reasonable.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Drill press spindle sanding drum is a crap way to go.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Go buy an oscillating spindle sander. End of story.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
For what you are going to do it'll probably work fine.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Regular ole bench top drill press would probably suite your needs.

No quill handle and slowest speed of 525rpm, would be rather gutless with anything above 1/2" in wood I think, plus a general PITA to operate. Hard to be an actual drill press when needed. Even if you dropped a small mill like a Bridgeport in there it doesn't make it handier for drilling things than a drill press. Routing/milling small stuff in plastics or shiny wood, or maybe even steel it'd work well. As a drill press, I'd probably be using a cordless drill instead.

Not if you are drilling holes larger than maybe 1/4".
