  1. Nice. Gonna throw a BTL UFO motor 15 in my trunk wall with Cendo 3WKP at .7 and see what she can do before I rebuild. But I will definitely hit you up with a few designs when the time comes. Thanks and good luck with the new venture, sure it will do well.
  2. Great! Been waiting for someone to actually do this. Just built my first enclosure and let me tell you it would have been ALOT easier if the panels were already cut!! BTW, is this all MDF or can you get birch?
  3. Could try a system restore?
  4. Not me, but a close friend. If you look at the video section of the site, the video of the white Mazda Protege is my car with the last setup. Sub and box was built by iamamp3pimp at BassHeadsEnt.net. Dude knows his stuff and will treat you right.
  5. Maybe a hairtrick next?
  6. Was scared for a min my box design or build was off, but the lows are slowly comin in as the sub breaks in. :yahoo:
  7. Amp actually had vibration damage when I got it and failed on me shortly after installation. A close friend of mine, stanky1219 or bassin buick on the forums, went through and repaired the amp and reinforced the board mounting and case construction with a hot glue gun. Amp is solid as a rock now. This is really the only place I have to mount, so I made the best out of it. Look at 90% of your big wall builds, the amps are mounted either on the side or back of the shells. Just sayin.
  8. cotyballs from FLSPL suggested a song, AWOLNation- Sail, so I took a vid of it on the system. I like it.
  9. Nice set of gear. That Icon 10 looks soooo effin beefy. Didn't know they where beefed up that much. In for vids!
  10. Thanks man. First complete build. Usually have BassHeadsEnt.net take care of my enclosures for me. Top knotch work and they never let me down, but I felt I was ready to build my own and my budget demanded I was. I have always done the rest of my installs.
  11. Yeah, her facial expressions are pretty epic!
  12. Pretty effin sick. Right up there with Tommy's from SBN one year.
  13. Thanks for teh kind words yall! Really enjoying this setup. It definitely pounds but is very musical as well. Doesn't get as low as I would have liked. Rolls off pretty hard under tuning, but I can play regular music and be loud now, lol. Have been listening to slowed music for like 2 years now, lol.
  14. Thanks man. Atleast it's fixed. That's all that matters. Vids.
  15. First build ever. Pretty happy with it. Ugly but Functional! Watch in 720p!
  16. Still need to hit the rear deck with some deadner and cover up the 6x9 holes. Front will be covered with carpet or something eventually to hide all imperfections.
  17. Panels are not screwed in anywhere, just wedged into place and caulked on the backside. Ran out of caulk, but this area is pretty sealed with just the wood itself. Think it's fine. Very noticable difference!!
  18. This bish is movin some pretty good air now. Going to wait till I get a decent camera before I waste anymore of yall's time with these BS vids. Here's some pics for now. As with the rest of the theme for the build, it's ugly, but functional... Doin work: Finished product: Wood split when I was tappin it in, said F it and left it. You can't see it.
  19. There was something wrong with my amp , but now that it's fixed the sub is still takin the power fine!!
  20. Ok, so got some updates. The RUB1.2500D took a shit right after this vid. Apparently there was severe vibration damage to the amp. Can't say that it was like that when I got it or I did it, but I know it is puttin out twice as much as it was when I got it now that it's fixed. There was a diode broke off on one solder joint, the protection light lightbulb was rolling around inside the case, the insulation pads on two of the fetts had slid out of place and the fett where touchin the heatsink, the speaker terminals where completely broke off the board and apparently had been for sometime as there are numerous black spots from where it's been arcing, and one of the RCA towers was completely broken off. Now the case was missing some screws when I got it and I had it mounted on the back of my box and I did see it vibrating pretty bad, so like I said, I can't say I didn't do it. I just feel like that is alot to happen in such a short time (a few days) that I had it installed and also the fact that it was literally putting out half as much as it is now when I got it. Pretty sure I was only gettin 1/2 my input voltage with one of the RCA towers not being active. Anyway, here's some vids. Borrowed my boy's Earthquake PHD2 Shredder modded to 1 ohm while he was fixin on my Rubie. And, big thanks to stanky1219/bassin buick for fixin my amp and loanin me his while he was doing it. True friend. Even did some hot glue work inside and reinforced everything so it's solid as a rock now and all screws are in.
  21. Seriously, why does an AQ1200D or a Sundown SAZ-1500D have built in fusing? Is it there to protect the wire or the amp? AT that point it is there to protect the amp and that's what I'm doing, protecting my amp. It's like havin a new born baby and buying the Pampers instead of the Parent's Choice, lol.
  22. Just to spite you.
