  1. this makes me feel very confident ordering 2 more 5ks and running 1 on each zcon.

This single picture is all you need to know about the Zcon... 5 months of beating the living piss out of these subs with twice RMS. bass boost maxed, gain maxed, anything i could do to gain .1 db i did. clipped signal, low voltage demos, name it. heres what the coils looked like today after all that. D2 coils still read dead on 1.4 and looked brand damn new. you physically can not tell the old coil from the new one im putting in. it looks perfect.
  4. Well I got the 18s reconed down to 15s. Pulled the battery bank out to make room for the other 5ks. I decided to run 4 5ks rather than 2 9ks. It's gonna take a little more room but I like it better this way. Need to order some welding cable to replace the cca knuconceptz runs to the back. I'll gave pics up in a lil while. You should see what clipped 10k watts did to the 18s coils

  6. new alt bracket mocked up with factory alt. Singer is sending me a little bit larger than stock case to see how big i can fit here. I dont think i can fit the big 350A unit here. worst case....240a plus the 350A under the car. If you remember, this is where the old belt tensioner was. new bracket mocked up. And voila! dual alts. this is the stock unit for now. no more spring loaded tensioner. now i have a turn buckle type. much nicer. Mike also said he had a prototype goodie he was sending me.... well see what it is when it gets here.
  7. Believe it or not i dont have enough power to blow the 18s. built tough thats for sure. Edub, i need to recone the 18s to make the 3rd and 4th 15s. I ordered 2 recone kits and new baskets.
  8. a turbo wont fit in my budget or car so lets not talk about it. if i were to do a turbo it wouldnt be some homemade hacked up bull shit, with claims of 400 hp and 20psi on to the progress. all new subs and the recone kits for the 18s are here i can start working on that. My 2nd alt bracket is here and will be mocked up today my new powersteering line is here and will be on today Mike Singer has the old alt and is checking it out and re-clocking the charging post for me. that should be back here probably next week.

  17. I actually bought it from the same company I used a few years ago. Well tha's easy lol. Stuff the engine with alts and STS turbos in the rear what I'm shooting for! I'll probably N2O tho.The bracket I bought is to relocate the alt. I have never seen one with dual alts.

  21. I hope the preorder price is good, because I really want one. Pre orders are only needed when your trying to pay for a mass overseas order. when your equipment is built local at an affordable price then you dont need to mark it down just to sell some.
