Im looking for something to 4 18s or 4 15s in. a 240 or a crx will not fit the bill.

crx dosent have enough gears or balls to hit 150 mph. maybe with an turbo and an integra ls tranny but then it would take a year to get there. i had one for years but keep the suggestions coming. im not shooting anything down yet.

All my buddies back home had impalas/caprice sedans so i know what there capable of, and with that huge ass i could fit 4 18s

Since i am more of a speed guy than a DB guy, i wanted to do a 155mph/155DB build. the caprice with a LT1 was my first choice for that

Like the title says. im looking for a project ride to build a retarded system in. i am looking to compete a little so i want to put good numbers. I am NOT looking for a tahoe/yukon for clear reasons. there is already one out there... i have 4 saz3ks and im going with 4 SSA subs. either 4 18s or 4 15s if need be. I have a 4k-$5k budget for the new ride. i wanted a 94-96 caprice wagon but i cant seem to find a clean one for a reasonable price around here. big body cars in houston are all bought or beat up.

If you are running what is in your sig. You might need more like 30ft away. But yea I get it. I have from 2-3 bulk packs dampener plus a barrier. And personally don't want others to hear my stuff. It's can it perform inside that counts. I have a very extensive sound deadener application. my truck is almost perfectly quiet inside with no music and really, you cant hear the music with windows up from 10-15 feet away My wife herd mine in her car doing 80mph on I-20 with my driver window down half way riding behind her. I was more impressed than she was. LOL Mr. Lance you have a rediculous system (and i hate you for it) and your goal was not to be heard down the freeway. thats just a side affect....

I love my 4 sundown SA-8s but i had a blast with my 4 kicker 8s in my mustang a few years ago. got very loud for 4 inexpensive 8" drivers

Im lost as to why people want to hear their systems outside their car??? How often do you hear your own system a block away? im just saying i dont get it. my system is loud as fuck inside my truck, but 10 feet away all you hear is my exhaust rumble

No, have you? im just trying to save you some money. even if you raise the front of the seat the 3-4 inches it will need, nobody could sit on it and you still wont have enough airspace for a ported 10. plus where you gonna put the amp? im pretty familier with your style truck and its not gonna work. Im tuned in for the build log. good luck

So let end this thread untill you know what you can fit. threads like this just turn into a pissing match. go figure out what you can fit in the space you have then revisit. neither options will fit without raising your seat and building a custom ported box. even then, your extreamly limited with a ported box. not trying to knock the wind out of your sails.

i recently did an install in an 02 supercrew. you NEED to check your mounting depth. I dont recall either of these options fitting under the seat. and we looked at alot of options.

2 SA-8s is my choice. all good choices though

Working on it as fast as I can -- but all the custom tooled parts are going to make it take alot longer to produce. I will wait patiently like a good boy.

Man i was hoping the X-8 would be first in line.

if you burn a voice coil it dosent mean the other coil accepts all the given power.
