You might want ask the sellers if it will work with car audio wire. the first one in your line up says in the listing wont work for audio. i have never had soldered wire lug come loose. i have had crimped wires come loose, but never used a hydrolic press. its kind of a toss up. i perfer a solid soldered lug.

Yeah even home depot sells a torch that will work great. i had only used the top one. it has to open so wide to fit the lug in it, its just not comfortable to use. the hydro option is pretty nice but a torch is only $20 at depot or lowes and having solder penetrate up your wires and hold the lug on ensures the best possible connection.

Leave the cover off and hang it on the garage wall as a trophy!!! save up for another one. Thats pretty cool

I used to make alot of 2/0 cables as a forklift tech and have used the top one, its kinda klumsy but always ended up soldering them. get a mini torch and solder. thats my suggestion.

Hey quick question: if im looking for say 33hz from an areo port in a box 3 cubes how do i calculate it if i need two ports? heres the situation, i have box 3 cubes, want to run 4 inch ports. if i make one port its 7.4 inches long but i need more area than that.

Here is some pics of the new power wires. 75 feet of knu 1/0 power and ground. added 1/0 in addition to existing big 3 locations the old crappy 1/0 i bought these 40 dollar fancy knu krap! i busted two fittings out of the first 4 i did. i scrapped that idea. Alt 1/0 knu every fitting is soldered and solid as a rock my power center straight off the battery.

i need quite a bit more to fit something worth changing. 4 re8 on a 1500d hits pretty hard....but not like a btl.

Ok heres an update. i got the BIG three done in 1/0 knukoncepts as well as power and ground ran all the way back to the cab to my "power station" i was really thinking about what ///M5 said about the safty of the back seats raised the way they were and second guessed my idea, them my wife screams, i run, shes finally pregnant.( been trying for over a year) happy day for me... bad for a 12" btl under the seat. now im back to step one. im gonna lower the seat down to just over an inch of lift mostly because of M5 then my wife sealed the deal. cant put a car seat on a seat i dont trust even 99%.

Time to buy another one!

Have you thought about using an external port? It would make sense to get the most volume you can under the seat ion that enclosure. Bigrank916, i hoped you or shizzon would chime in. thanks. i have thought about some aeros. i know sub up port back seems to yeild the best sound but the back ot my box is only like 7 inches inside so a slot would be real tricky

Hello, im building a box for a loaded 12 btl. i have an odd shaped box i made to fit under my silverado back seat. my question is how should i run my port/s. the box is wedge shaped with 3.6 cubes gross. the box dimentions are 11.25 high in front 8.5h in back 53.5 long and 16 deep. any idea on port location? trying to get 14 sq/in of port per cube seems hard. thanks steve height1 11.25" height 2 8.5" length 53.5" depth 16" the sub will be facing up on the drivers side

subthump.com has one for our truck thats pretty nice. i made two for under my seats and put two re 8s in each. that shit pounded hella hard off a saz1500d . sealed.

well im open to suggestions... there is six feet on the floor and 3 steel hooks holding it up. bubble not bursted. there is three steel 3 in. wide hooks the seat is supported with attached to the back of the cab. i am willing to change it up if you can come up with a "safer" solution.
