Being in tx we always strive for something better..... The 6th order is becoming a 4th order with 4 zcon 18s. Same power for now. Subs facing down so we can see those sexy asses. I'll have more pics of the rebuild as it progresses. Expect to see 160+

This is a good buddies build. I got him hooked up with Mark to order 2 zcon 18s and 2 crescendo 5500s. Mark came through very fast on delivery. This blazer already had a 6th order for 2 IA dp21s. Doing decent numbers. But when we put the zcons in holy shit! We played with the back ported section and bumped up the volume a bit changing the ratio. In testing before the last show we managed a 159.5 and at the show after demos and playing around he was able to put up a 158.7 official score. I don't have a lot of the build pics since it had the 6th when I met him. Here's a few from the show.

These have a hole in the side and a set screw to hold the wire in place. As for the amp... Since I'm strapping the amps in pairs I will lose one set of outputs on the amps. Here is the solution. He's making them to accept 6g. These are just his stock photos. Mine are paid for but not built yet.

Alright kids...... Got current! My new wire and terminal lugs for my speaker wire showed up today. 6g solid copper next to some knukonceptz 8g cca Overkill? Eh maybe. But my speaker wires (all 16 runs) are 8 feet long and when you have battled the gremblins I have with this electrical. I'm not fucking around this time.

It's hard to get them to stay on at .25..33 is the sweet spot. My teammate had 6 on his 3 SHW 18s clamping near 50k in total.

Looks loud just sitting there. I love D9s. If you had 2 more I would trade my 5ks. D9 fit perfectly in Usaci. DC5ks do not!

I'm leaning towards the v8 anyway. Turbo with flowmasters just isn't the same. Mod motors are not the sound as the old 5.0s either. I loved my old 5.0 with 40 series.

Hey ihop, I'm buying a new truck. I have narrowed it down to an f150 4x4 For about the same price I can get the turbo v6 or 5.0L v8 Gas milage is almost the same and I use a company gas card anyway. I plan to tow some here and there but the specs look very close. Any thoughts on which engine I should get?

Tuned in. I did a little build in my 09 a few years back.

There is an additional spider placed on a different landing on the basket. This can help with possible coil rock at extremely high levels, as the basket the SP4 uses has a ton of clearance. The SP4 does not have a coil rock issue, but for a metaphor; think about a po-go stick as your jumping up and down, it is more stable when both your hands and feet are on it, compared to just your feet. no kidding? I saw this feature on another brand sub woofer. I was very impressed. I'm glad to see others doing the same. But come to think about they use like baskets.
