Why for ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> to not fudge with data being shipped? When I shipped my SX out I was checkin out the little illegal items to ship chart and in the bottom right corner magnets of size were legal.

I'm surprised that UPS and other shipping companies dont require bucking magnets.

Possibly, I just want to use as little room as possibly and as efficiently as possible. I'll take a pic of my trunk and show you what I'm workign with. edit: Heres my trunk/hatch area. My goal is to use at most half of that area if possible. BTW I didnt go all the way back into my trunk bc hatch only allows 12 inches

Ok well I just received my D2 from Oak244 on ca.com, I just realized he's a member on here too, and wel I need an enclosure design. Itll be powered by a Hifonics BX1205d, I listen to rock and rap just about 50/50, and I would like LSQ leaning towards the SPL side. I was thinking about doing the 1.5 cuft @ 32 hz that is recommend on the SI site but thought I'd ask for other recommendations. BTW will anyone here design a box for me? lol My old box was for a RE SX 15" external dimensions 34w x 25d x 12h tuned to 35 hz. The box was HUGE. I need my trunk so I can relocate my battery since intercooler piping for my boost project will get in the way.

Nope and I learned that personally. Then I tossed it into a 3.5 @ 35hz box I built and wala it sounded great and it was loud. I agree its an amazing street beater but I got rid of it and have a mag in the mail as I type. I havent heard an IDMAX so I cant really compare but thought Id share my SX experience. BTW install is the most important thing afterall isnt it? damn I havent posted in a while
