  1. how about in subs
  2. its just going to be for 2 10s so 1/2 will do the job or 3/4 ill be using the IA 187's or RE SRX 10's what do you think i should choose
  3. Oh its because i was looking online and could find it at home depot there was some at lowes but jus 3/4 inch.
  4. I'm going to build a box just want to know were to buy mdf
  5. The biggest difference that I noticed between the SAE 1200D and the SAZ-1000D is that the SAZ is strappable, while the SAE is not. If you are not planning on getting a second amp, (for your subs), then get more power with the SAE-1200D. If your budget for the highs amp is 150, then look on db-r, there is an SAX-50.4 for about that price refurbished. Goes nicely with either of those sub amps. For sure ill get the SAX50.4 refurb for 153$ The sub amp that i want is the saz 1000d but i believe that the saz has more current draw than the sae 1200d
  6. Ill be buying a new amp soon. Ill be putting this amp on 3 10 re srx. The amp will be on the stock electrical and I might do the big 3 upgrade. And i might be getting an amp for my highs and mids. I have the alpine type r 5x7. They are 100wrms each. My budget on the amp is spending no more than 150 for the high amp. For the sub amp i will be spending no more than 280$ Oh and the amps i could get the SAE 1200d for 211 refurbished and the SAZ1000d for 197 refurbished. They will be on a 2000 f250
  7. Ok going to make like a little diagram of cheap wood see if they would fit. This will work on the four door right???
  8. Just for info i have the Superduty without window motor. Oh ok so i wont need that much sound deadner. How much do you sell the 187's shipped to 92567 10"s.
  9. so what your saying is take off the back plastic part. Cover that with Dynamat or any other sound deadener. And that would be good. Do u think the re srx would fit there or the 187's are better?? Ive never tried incriminator audio but i have tried re audio
  10. yeah but would they fit in the box???
  11. write now i have the us amps xt2000d 1000wrms @1ohm and the us amps 800.4 100x4wrms @ 2 ohm stock electrical and a 2 farad capacitor 4 awg wiring and pioneer HU
  12. oh ok but you mean the switch on the psu. If i dont have a psu
  13. oh alright. But if i have a HU can't i just connect the rem. from the HU and so on
  14. You sure can. oh alright thanks. Just wondering if from the psu the wire in it is not that thick my amp has 4awg wiring inputs. How large is the power supply? I have 2 500 watt power supplies and 1 800 watt BFG PSU
  15. You sure can. oh alright thanks. Just wondering if from the psu the wire in it is not that thick my amp has 4awg wiring inputs.
  16. So I have looked around in the internet and found out that you can install car audio stuff with a power supply. My brother fixes computers so i have plenty of those I have a pioneer head unit. and 1 12 inch sub and was wondering if i can connect those to my computer. Along with an amp to power the sub.
  17. oh well i was looking to see if it would be better ported or sealed my budget would be around 250 to 320 $. There is no way that i could fit different subs other than shallows. Or is there any good sounding shallows. Can i move my back bench seat a little forward so i can build a different box with more mounting depth.
  18. One takes more power, if you dont have the room to run an 18" subwoofer then it will be a waste of money and should just stick with the 15" of either model you get. well its going in the back of a jeep cherokee so room shouldnt be an issue. but if there are no big advantages to an 18in sub ill probably stick with the 15in BL i would say the 15 inch fi bl for spl and the fi q for "SQL" kicker l7's sound nasty in prefab boxes
  19. Ok so i might be building a sub box for my truck. It is a 2000 f250 SuperDuty. I have stock electrical. I have alpine type r 5x7 all around I have pioneer hu. I need help in choosing subs. I plan on putting 3 10's my budget is spending around 200 for speakers and 50 for the materials for the box i have this so far top depth 3 3/4 ' bottom depth 6 1/4' length 52' height 16' should i do ported or sealed????
  20. sorry for not posting the necessary info still a newbie.. i will be installing the the 2 subwoofers on a 2005 nissan altima in a sealed box 14hX12dX28w. all the electrical wiring is stock and im running the US Amp XT2000D using 4 gauge wiring the car also has the BOSE audio system with i believe a 200-400watt amp and i also have an alpine cde 102 head unit Im not looking at upgrading the wiring or the amp right now. but i was maybe considering buying maybe a ported box? Another choice of subs that i was considering where the RE SE 12" or RE SE 10"..i have heard these on my cousins truck but i think it might be too much bass for my car and are a bit more expensive than the Type R or P3 subs I will mostly be using these subs for daily use no competition. and listen mostly to hip hop and r &b and some spanish music which is why i have the soundstream digital bass. My budget for the subs is around $300 for both. im able to get the type r's or p3's for 100 or the RE SE 12" for $150 As for the 5 x 7 speakers they will be goin on a ford f-250 with everything stock and no extra amplifier. The only thing it currently has is a pioneer head unit so im just looking for some decent upgrade nothing big. The price range for the speakers is about $60 a pair. I also saw some infinity speakers 6820CS. Sorry for the inconvenience i just want to get a good buy and some decent quality
  21. i cannot reallly make a mounting bracket. I'm stuck with choosing 5x7 or 6x8 Whats a good option for some 5x7 in the 40 to 70 dollars a pair price range? What subs should i get?
  22. Im looking two get two new subs. What would be a better buy. 2 12" Alpine Type R subs (4ohm) or 2 12" Rockford Fosgate P3 subs(4ohm). They are being powered by a US Amps XT2000D amplifier and will be wired at 1ohm. In a sealed box. I am getting both at the same price but i dont know which ones would sound better. And im also looking at getting some new speakers, debating wheter to get the Alpine Type R 5x7 SPR-57C or the RE Audio RE5X7FR. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks
  23. Can i wire two 4 ohm dvc to 1 ohm or two ohms i have a monoblock class d amp us amps xt2000d
