Its a Kenwood DNX 7120 this years model would be the DNX7140

Yeah the bezel is out of an 03 and I did no modding to the dash just swapped bezels. And I love that kenwood.

Now remember this is only temporary so it's not purty and finished. I don't have any install pics since like I said it's not the finished product.

If your not in a hurry just wait Thumper is building my box for my s-10 xcab for 2 12"xcons and my seat will be all the way back.

Well Jay I'll let you know what shipping will cost when thumper builds mine and ships it here to Dallas. The box will be for 2 12" xcons ported for and s-10 truck.

You can do it one of two ways mod your existing 1.5 din bezel with some fiberglass work or buy a 2 din bezel out of a 02 to 03 s-10. Now they don't make an install kit for a double din in our trucks unless you have an 02 or newer. You will have to make your own brackets to install your radio. I have an 01 s-10 and have a kenwood cdx-7120 in mine with an 02 bezel. I'm not done with mine just took some steel bars and bent them to make brackets to mount the radio. I'm gonna redo it and make it nicer now that I know how I want to do mine.

My neighbors hate me already from my old system. They don't complain to much cause I work in law enforcement and help keep them safe at night while they sleep cause I'm outside working on my stuff.

I would say get the SAZ-3500D and you will be cool or you can find a used SAZ-3000D and it will work fine. What is your budget, that will help us decide whats best for you? Also do you want new or used? Money is not a problem and everything will be new. I hate buying used I like to be the first owner. LOL Thumper is building my box orginally he was building for my 2 JL 12W6's but after reading on here and seeing videos I have changed my mind and am going with xcons. The Xcon's will be a totally different beast from the W6. Thats what I'm hopeing. I've always been more of an SQ guy but I want more so I'm going more to the SPL side of things. I'm buying either 2 12" xcons or 2 15" xcons depends on what thumper comes up with and recommends for my truck x-cab s-10. I see in the ssa store that I can buy a combo of each sub with a sun down 1500 but I would like to only run one amp for the subs. Would the 3500 be ok or should I go bigger or should I go ahead and buy 2 1500. P.S. I'm comming to the dark side from running 2 JL 12W6 and 2 Phoenix Gold Ti 600.2 amps. IT'S LOUD BUT I WANT MORE

Well I'm from Dallas, Tx and I've been into car audio for about 15yrs. I've always done my own installs other than build the box ( I suck at box building/designing). Currently I have a 2001 chevy s-10 extended cab. I hope there are others in this forum that are from around me. I found this forum because I've been looking at redoing my whole system from the ground up. I've always been a Jl fan but I kinda want to go more spl now. So I'm hoping to learn alot from this sight as I migrate my equipment over to Sun Down products. Electrical Custom built 200amp externally regulated alt. Built by a guy here locally. 1/0 positive wire from alt to batt to secondary batt in truck to fuse block. 1/0 negative wire from alt to frame, batt to fram, ground block to body and frame. 4 gauge wire to amps. battery under hood is a optima yellow top 2nd battery in truck is a Kinetic hc2400 Stereo Head unit is a Kenwwood DNX7120 Amps 2 Phoenix gold 600.2 Titaniums 1 Phoenix Gold 400.2 Titanium Processors Phoenix gold Titanium Bass cube Phoenix gold DEQ Titanium (front stage) Speakers Jl audio CS 3 ways 2 Jl audio 12w6v2 Well I'll shut up now.
