  1. Dam! For a moment I thought about getting 2 DCONS, but then the shipping just added $50 GRRRR! I know I know, Im asking for too much but oh well
  2. For a moment I thought you meant Ascendant Audio's forum theme lol
  3. OMG I LoLeD That was pretty funny. Whoever posted that realized he will never be able to afford such a nice piece of equipment.
  4. At first I was like =O But then I was like =OOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. With that setup and voltage, Im pretty sure 2 Sundowns 2500Ds would be a nice option.
  6. Good video, but sucks for him What brand is this amp? just to let people know and is it me or are there loose power/ground wires around the amp? or did they disconnected during the bass test?
  7. S3400 is the highest powered battery that will fit? Is there any chance a D3100 can fit?
  8. Hey Aaron/Mark My friend just purchased one. I told him about the group sale and I told him it was perfect for his build. Much better than the rockford fosgate he was been offered at some random car shop. Cant wait to see this sexy amp in person!!!
  9. I want to know which is the best battery that fits under the hood of a Saturn Vue. Year 08, 09 and 10 I was hoping I was gonna be able to put a D3100 under the hood, but the factory seems to have a more square-ish shape. Let me know
  10. I honestly wish I had $115 laying around. I feel like getting one of these just to have it in the closet. Such a sexy amp deserves to be in my hands lol
  11. Does this mean higher price after that?
  12. Good idea Once Im done reading the thread over at diyma, will prob give a look at the ZED section here and start pming some people
  13. I heard about the issues. And I noticed they happened a very long time ago and those are gone already. Havent heard of any issues lately. Thanks for posting it for others to be notified tho! Im going to read the whole diyma thread. Looks like an interesting one....
  14. My problem with those is that they start "wearing out" when you screw them in and out after a few times. I know, you dont take out and put back your amp every day, but I try to avoid those when I need to screw something. Personal taste I guess, but they sound like a great way to stop theft.
  15. Foot print is a somewhat heavy benefit. 2 more channels to work with without having to run extra power/ground wires for an extra amp. Efficiency, I thought sundown was underrated as well? with good electricals (like their class D amps) they perform better than what the paper states dont they? Assembled in the USA, even though I dont know how much this benefits (I know! not in China makes it good enough already!), I always heard made in the USA is the best way to go. Quick out of topic question, where are sundown assembled at? So far Im inclined towards the Leviathan. I think it has a sexy look, the review on their website seems to prove leviathan is a monster specially with the right electricals.
  16. We should pin this thread I mean, I know about hiding stuff, locking the car, tinted windows and alarm always help. But there is a thing or two that are I didnt think about. Im glad I live in a "safe" neighborhood. Cop station within a block of my house and 2 blocks from the main avenue (collins). BUT you never know where you gonna end up driving to or parking at so you always wanna be ready.
  17. Goal is to have a SQ front stage. Plan is to have carbon mids on the doors. Tweeters will probably stick to my Bravox and add a few more. I dont want to leave my rear doors without any speakers so I will prob replace the factory and place a pair of carbon mids there. So far, I dont have plans on putting tweeters on the back doors yet. At first I wanted 8" drivers for midbass, but looks like the carbons will be able to do that job. Thats where I see them benefiting from the extra 50watts from the Leviathan. Prob going to cross them ~63hz I thinking about sticking to 2 amps for the mids/highs. My question pretty much is, what other benefits does the Leviathan have (besides 2 extra channels and more RMS) that makes it a better option than the 100.4? I would love to go for 2 Leviathans and have extra headroom to work with, but there is somewhat a high price difference. What do you guys think?
  18. LOL did he get mad? I feel sorry for that sub and amp. Shogen, you sir have so much patience. I admire you. Cookie for you
  19. I dont know if I should go for 2 100.4 or a single Leviathan and another 2 channel amp (kronos maybe) Any comments? This is to power components, most likely carbon mids and some tweets. I dont see any advantage on the leviathan other than extra 2 channels and more rms. Not sure which way to go
  20. I see everyone here talking negatively about sealed enclosures. Are ALL sealed enclosures bad? Or just when it comes to big builds?
  21. Im saving up for a Leviathan
  22. Yep, you are right I mean, Im also upgrading from 4 gauge to 2/0 and since this is something I dont want to be upgrading later on and is pretty much as important as the other factors in the system, I might as well just go for the best performing wire. I think 2/0 welding will be great for my system. Wont have to worry about getting a thicker wire later on or not been 70% efficient because of CCA>
  23. So KnuKonceptz Oxygen Free wire is actually the "good" wire from them. I guess I could use 2/0 from welding for the big 3 and 1/0 oxygen free from knukonceptz for the power and ground. But then the problem is that 1/0 oxygen free from knu is $3.40 while 2/0 from welding is $2.95 I might as well just do 2/0 all around
