Thanks guys, On the alt. killing the battiery i dont think so since all the other batteries had no effect, they didnt even swell. I think it was just a defective battery..

Well my Extencive Amperage 250amp Alt. finally gave out.. It didnt do to bad three years in there working strong, but it only did about three months running the 4000.1"s in there... This is whats left of the 250amp'er, From my guess it tried to put out enought current to bend space and time then it just gave out... This is what the new one looks like....

Ya no doubt, i cant always just replace a battery but if someone got hurt now that would have been bad....Nope no idea why it blew

well i can figure out how the alts go without the pic its cool, but just run how the wiring is suppost to go by me and i can take it from there..

and i know some people are going to say its just where the cab peeks at but ,This is the second box Ive ran in this truck. The first box i had tunned to 34hz and it peeked in the cab at 35hz which is where im trying to get back to. Old box was tunned with aero ports so tunning was alot eazyer

Alright so i posted this on an other forum but no one really had any good insignt into what they think caused the tunning of my box become so high from what I tunned it to. Alright here where Im at this is what the box looks like inside its ruffly a little over 7sq ft each side , port is 17.5 inches tall and 6" wide lenght wise its 19" then it L's with the smaller side 8.5" for a total lenght of about 28". So i was thinking i was going to be tuned to about 34hz well after I got metered turns out im at 57hz any idea where I fucked up?

thats the battery itself, one is the one on the left side of the truck and the bottem pic is the battery on the right side witch exploded, thats why theres a big hole in it

what the battery is suppost to look like..... what it looks like now,,,,,,, BOOM...and the crowd goes wild.....

would make a good fathers day gift...

A little update, got some projecter for the truck. wanted to try these out Also went to a show today and got metered , not to bad

I got these two items in the dual kit for the dodge 6.7 diesel but with no instructions so before i mess anything up i wanted to get some advice with it, first i got this little module that plugs into my stock harness it has a blue and black wire , then i have the harness that connects to the alts and has a relay. at the side that conects to the alts theres a blue and red wire and at the relay theres a red and white. Also just a shot in the dark but would you happen to have any pic of the kit installed. I got the writen instrustion but a pic of out its suppose to look might help me put this thing togerther faster. let me know Thanks,

Final product of the blow through looks really nice Ya we needed somthing to break up the two tone a bit, ,, The trucks already putting in work..

Well i got a call on friday saying my alts are ready for pick up but my bracket wouldnt be ready untill today monday 4/25/2011. So i called and left a message saying i was going to stop by monday on my way back to texas, Now today monday Ive called a couple of times and tried to see if everything is ready but no one answered. Tried to leave a message but the mail box is full. Im just going to want to order shipped to Texas since im not stopping by not knowing it you guys are open or not.
