  1. Well the Honda's wiring had been cut to pieces many many times so I ditched the whole stock mess. I ran new all new wires for the deck, comps and rear fill. Dedicated fuse block for the deck and a soft start relay for the remote wire to the the amps. I scored on the the rca's and got a couple ofsweet fuse blocks. One of the blocks has 2 zero in and 2 zero out and accepts 2 mini anl the other block takes 3 zero in and 1 zero out and 2-4 gauge out this block accepts 4 fuses. I haven't seen any nicer blocks. Tomorrow I am going to order the body kit DONE AT THE BODY SHOP. NO wing! Also there is a major problem with the front control arms they are bent and the ball joints are bad. So to fix this and make it street-able I need new control arms. I hope to have the car off to paint by friday. I'm going to be out of money until taxes come after getting the car presentable. Hopefully I can afford the amp. If I am going to have issues I will get one of the alts a 270 amp fully adjustable to 18 volt and maybe a smaller amp I hope not but I may have to. I got socked with tags for 3 vehicles this month and insurance for 2. Color will be Bone White with blacked out lights. Better shot of the body kit: This is a urethane and it cost double the normal kits.

  3. I'll get some photos of team Flex Issues donk. Riding on 24's sporting 2 18" TSNS on 4k.
  4. Chop have registered the team name under MECA?
  5. Now if Big Rank or Hawk would show up that would be nice.
  6. Knu is over rated. Sure it's nice but you pay of it. I have used knu in one of my cars and found it hard to work with because it is so over sized. For the price I spent on knu I got a roll of Stinger pro and didn't have to cut one extra strand of wires to fit them in to my terminals or amp. That said it is true to 1/0 sizing nothing extra and no thick jacket. As for the Bullz stuff I probably wouldn't use their power wire but their speaker wire and fuse blocks are GREAT for the price they are duplicate to ones costing 2-3 times more.
  7. Thanks phatboi I do have my eye on it but I have a relative dd dealer.
  8. My new build
  9. Then you should ignore those "a lot of people" as they don't know jack. I beg to differ. It's kinda about noise rejection... mostly just for induced noise from the RCAs. Say you're feeding an amp that makes 30v wide open with a 1v signal. The signal has to be 'multiplied' (which is actually what gain is measured in) 30 times. If you have 100mV of induced noise then when you multiply that 30 times you'll get 3v of noise on your output. If you feed the same amp with a 6v signal and adjust the gain accordingly then it only has to multiply the input 5 times to reach full output. So your 100mV of noise only turns into 0.5v at the outputs...
  10. Please make this event. This will be the 1st Meca event in the southern valley. Come out a meat Team Flex Issues and several others. But if your going to bring it you better have it loaded. Rumor has it the dudes with Flex issues are going to run the classes and take home all of the 1st place trophy's again.
  11. Pic's to follow it's raining. I did deaden 1/2 of the car yesterday though.
  12. I bought the vehicle last night. Sorry but I like to WIN so I got a CRX.
  13. I'm still looking for the right CRX! My intentions with this build is mid 55's with some mpg left to attend comps. I will be using fi neo's and a birch enclosure for sure should save at least 200 lbs. With that said I have picked up the following already: Batcap 4000 1 set of Hertz 165 comps Christmas present to myself. I took a month off and managed a Christmas tree lot I'll be getting a 4k check for my slave labor. Lots going to happen the next 2 mths. Team Flex Issues will be hosting a 3pt MECA event. One of our members already has 38 pts next comp he'll retain the State Championship. His average score in Street 5 is 155.4
  14. This build hasn't died! purchases set to begin in January- February.
