  1. He was talking about cheap ways to do it. Basically take sheetrock and put it on your wall at an angle and put building isolation behind it. \| <<< like this. Probably at angle, so it doesn't take that much of a room thus making the room smaller? That's for the the walls. For the windows he talks about making plugs the size of your windows out of sheetrock. But I am not worried about that much because I have roller shutter type of blinds outside and rarely listen to music with the windows opened. I was thinking about staking fiberglass insulation in the frame of the door and shut the whole thing from the outside with sheetrock. For my room I can cover it all with sheetrock with building isolation behind it.
  2. My main problem is the bass travels through the walls and the neighbors can hear it as my house is joined by their building My second problem is I am sitting right next to a door which leads to the terrace that is just above the street. My speakers are faced towards me and when I play loud music all goes out the door to the street. I have space outside the door and I was wondering what to put there, in the door frame. I don't care if you won't be able to go out the door.
  3. I am looking to do some soundproofing on my room. Does this guy speak the truth? Any more/better advice from you home audio guys? Thanks.

  5. Hey fellow Ectomorph, good luck trying to gain weight. Same as you, I haven't moved in years. The thing is I have a multi-station in the next room, but no motivation to use it.

  17. I'm very interested in making a ball chair for my room and if it turns out great, sell it with profit. I have yet to search into how exactly I am going to do it. I was thinking about making a metal "skeleton" to support the weight of the person. Then make molds for the external shape and use fiberglass. This way I can make more chairs if sold. The thing I am wondering is should it be made as a whole or two pieced(the outer shape). If whole I have to do the skeleton welding inside it - PITA. Two pieced - perfect seam between the two. The inside will be done with some soft material, wrapped in texture(no problem here, my parents own a clothing shop). What do you guys thing? Want...
  18. Poor kid kills the HOP
  19. Hey, if I was getting the same minimum wage as you guys do in America I'll gladly buy you an ice cream cone through PayPal. Sean picks what he wants since he doesn't eat ice cream.
