  2. Got B...eer?
  3. Nice place, J.
  4. For my box I just bought a threaded rod and cut two pieces from it. Build log in the signature. Turned out pretty good. I went with the rod, because I'll be using it again for another box. And I could easily remove the wires from the box. If you have a bolt you have to remove the woofer to hold the other side from the inside so you can unscrew it.
  5. Dehydrated. Half you body weight in ounces is what you should put down to get back up to speed. Even 50% more wouldn't hurt. ie, 220lbs = 110oz ~ 1 gallon and that is a minimum for insuring hydration What is your formula for daily consumption of water. You quoted it. Obviously a "rule of thumb" and you all know how much I despise those, but figure that it is a more is better situation anyways. I thought it might be the same, but asked dye to the dehydration part.

  7. You should set your SF just a little bit below tuning. It's shouldn't be at 0. It's there to protect your subwoofers! And I said it might be the SF in my last post. Glad we could help you out.
  8. You should shave half of your face and take a picture for us
  9. So from what I understand from your post the sound was OK with the 2k, but when you changed the amp it no longer sounds that good, just louder. So by the logic of it, it's the amp.. and it's settings. Check your LPF, SF and Gain again.
  10. That's twice the rated power you're putting on them. Try turning the gain down. They should remain loud, but sound much better.
  11. Are your SA's D2 or D4 coils? The way you've connected your speakers, what ohm load does the amplifier see? Your gain can be set incorrectly and this could lead to a bad signal send to the subwoofers which can be heard, as you pointed out - "doesn't sound clean". Try backing up the gain just a lil bit at a time and see if it get's any better.
  12. Just finished "The Silence of the Lambs". Oh my...
  13. I'm dying for some nice weather too.
  14. It's the weekend, give it some time. You didn't notice this has been going on for almost 4 months huh? I see a pattern emerging at DC. I noticed, but that's why I said it's the weekend. He has the right to bump it everyday, but probably won't be read until sometime... But yeah, they've been lacking seriously on CS.

  16. Lord, seriously? You sig is a fucking page long. Is that necessary? *I never have them on, but turned them on a few days ago so it could have been like that for years. I have Adblock Plus and I see none of it. But maybe you are visiting from the phone.
  17. 12 hours later I am finally eating.

  21. Get that guy a cheeseburger. Make that a BIG jucy cheeseburger with bacon! I'll take that, sir. How much?
  22. Get that guy a cheeseburger. I was actually going to eat one at my favorite place, but it was closed. Haven't eaten there in years and NOW they were closed... If I am in front of the PC I can eat once a day. But when there is work to be done I'm like a rechargeable battery. I need my "charge".
  23. I need to stop starving myself.
  24. It's some pretty nice music. Be sure to check out his other archives.
  25. Congrats.
