  1. triipleb, you do not have 5 btls. you may have 5 motors that you said were getting sent to fi to get reconed. you have nothing to power them. stop talking about your dream system that you will never be able to afford/complete and to the op, if you want a btl, just get a d2 and wire it to one ohm if youre going with the rf amp
  2. did you glass the kerf or anything? ive never done one so i dont know how strong they are
  3. I would say get a SSD dual 1 ohm so you can wire it in series to 2 ohms or get a BL dual 2 ohm so you can wire it in parallel to 1 ohm. If money is an issue than get what you can, why are you asking us (get all options for either subwoofer). You should 12-16in^2 per cubic foot of internal volume in the enclosure. sorry Im not familiar with the port specs you gave me. Youre saying 12-16" and to have a port for every cubic foot? Also I have the 1200d coming so doesnt thata give me most power at 1ohm? Id need dual 2ohms to wire into 1ohm right? dual 1ohms cant be wired to 1ohm? i'd say just go with a bl or a q. your amp willl probably put out 1500 watts so you can run either of those at 1 ohm. the ssd could probably take 1500 but if you run it at 2 ohms it will probably give it around the rms power handling of the ssd. and to make the 12-16" of port more clear, you need 12-16" of port per cubic foot. if your box is 3 cubes then you need 36-48" sq inches of port i hope this all makes sense its like 4 am and im tireddd
