So I had my cracked nightshade 12 reconed by Jacob to a 15 and had him add the V2 coil along with a extra spider. Honestly all I can say is Damn I have owned A lot of subs in my life, but this is by far the loudest I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. The bass from this sub is violent. I know my blazer hates me everytime I start my truck. I am pround to tell people I have sundown in my truck, I also own a saz 3500. So if your thinkin of purchasing any sundown product don't think just buy it. Great products Jacob keep up the great work!!! Since you are allowing the build house to assemble the new z will they be assembleing the new neo sub when its ready ? Or will you be building that sub in house with the Night shade?

That thing is a beast, did it get warm doing that demo? Just wondering, I know AB amps run alot hotter than class D.

Actually I just found another nighthade 15 for my blazer to get reconed. I was looking for a V1 to get reconed like the one I already have with a v2 coil and 4 spiders. The hair trick thread was more along the lines of a question to see if that was possible to do with 2 subs but as soon as I get the other sub reconed I will definately put up some vids of the setup.

I know there are going to be alot of doubts that this is going to happen but trust me this is not a joke by anymeans, this project will happen and will be finished!! Even if we dont reach the 175 you can bet your ass it will be damn close. Either way anything over 170db on music will be a great feat that not many will reach!

I feel ya. Ieft the country firt chance I got. Jut bought me a house 6 months ago in a nice quiet subdivision. I would be crazy to think that this isnt gonna be a hard feat to pull off. Its gonna take lot of long nights and congac, vodka and beer to reach this goal.

But seriously I am going to give him a call and see what they are talking about, this is going to be our baby for the next year. The reinforcement is going to take the longest the actuall system wont be hard.

My goal i to have this thing finished in a year. If all goes well, this is by no means going to be a cheap project. But I am going to put my all into this monter. But I will definatly hit up dc power and see what they have to offer for my application.

Trust me it will be getting done we are coutry boys, here from louisiana we go hard or dont go at all!!!!

That why i said it will be built like a tank. My plans are to b abe to beat this thing with a sledge hammer and not even dent it lol. Once that is done then we will start the actual build.

Yea all that has been taken into consideration and all the necessary reinforcements wil be made. Basically it wil be built like a tank. But thanks for the advice. I never do anythiny half ass especially like this. Yea me and my partner are coming to play with the big boys but this is by no means going to be a weekedn project.

I was just wondering what fullrange amplifiers you guys offered and what cool technology they may have in them. I was looking at the ST series of amplifiers and I was very interested in the DUB 1000.4.

I am getting ready to build a system for a chrysler 300c and was wondering what you guys think would be louder in this application. 3 sa 12s sealed firing in the cabin or 2 sa 12 ported. I am planning on running a z 2500on the subs.
