Going in the back of a 2001 blazer so I got room I just never have been a big fan of 15's for some reason I have always used 12's on ever build that I have done.So you think the 2 15's would be louder than the 4 12's.Thats what I am looking for is what will give me the most output from what I will be using

I am going to be purchasing a 3500 in the next week 2 at the most. I was just wondering what would be a better match 4 sa12's or 2 nightshade 12's both boxes will be ported. reason I am asking this will be my first time using sundown equipment so I was just seeking a little advise. I have a 275a alt., 2 svr1500 batt., so I think I will be fine powering it .

Why does everyone say that it is a sound q sub. I have one premier 12 that plays lower than any other sub that i have ever owned. They are very capable of high spl numbers. lets not forget the big brother to these subs does hold a world record.

Yea I store used it all, we have only been here a year and a half so there are a still a lot of people that still dont even know we do car audio. Thats the whole reason for going to this car show. To do a bit of advertising.They dont pay for radio advertising here and if they did they are on the wrong stations anyway. But we are pretty steady . I did most of that yesterday we are pretty slow on sundays all around. so I had time to play a while. I dont know why but I do a lot of Hummers for some reason. Going to add a few more pics in a few days .

I work at store 1507 in louisiana I was going to do something different but changed my mine after I started building the box. I just hate there isnt much room. I started to do 1 Type R 12 at first but I new the 2 10s would be louder.

I am makeing a couple of Geek Squad symbols out of plexy. I really cant do a ton of work on the car because of corporate policies, the cars are leased so I have to make sure whatever I do doesnt modify the car at all.

This is our Geek Squad Bug that I am building a system for our car that we putting in a car show on the 28th of Feb. I am going to start fiberglassing the box an the amp rack tommorrow. I will upload some more pics as i go. thanks for looking.

Want to stay around 800 going to buy a sundown 3500 just bought a 250 amp altanator and installed it on my blazer and I have the whole rear of the truck for airspace.

I didnt get the 3rd amp from him I got that from another guy it was recently repaired before he sold it to me.

If you want to get them fixed db-r.com does an excellent job on repairing amps. Sounds like they have been pushed to hard in the past or under their ohm load, but something inside is damaged causing them not to live up to their capabilities. Just my .02 Shady people..x2 contact db-r When I got the amps from him the gains an bass boost were all the way up he had them runnin 4 power dvc tens so that may have mest them up the way he was using them.

I have 3 of the old rockford 200x2 transana amps 2 of them i bought from a guy that swore they worked fllawlessly. Anyway I hooked them up to test them out, they paly fine until they have to play a low note, and then they clip i guess, until i turn the volume down a little and then they play fine. The other 200x2 I have doesnt do that at all I can play it all day long and it never does that. has anyone ever heard of such a problem?

I am looking to purchase some new subs. I dont want anything larger than a 12. what suggestions do you guys have. I want a pr of 12s that will be super loud for a daily driver. I am tryn to get as loud as possible with just 2 12's. space or power isnt a issue.

I have used the term pro before, but honestly what it recommended for the bandpass sounded horrible. The speaker popped whenever the bass hit it was just a big mess up.

I was wondering if anyone new of any good enclosure design programs, the only one i know of is term pro. I was just wondering if there were any out there that were better. I am trying to do some experement ing with some bandpass enclosures.

I am wanting to try building a enclosure with a flared port and was wondering exactly how to do it if anyone can help with this i would really appreciate it.

I decided to do my blazer in the dark knight them the sub box is going to be the batman symbol the amp racks are going to be the joker playing cards. I need some help in deciding what to do the door panels and battery and distribution like to go with the theme using to svr batteries and and 2 sets of kenwood excelon 6.5 componets in each door.

Yea thats definately true I have been installing since 96 and have done a lot of custom installs including a demo car for pioneer, if anyone remembers the integra's they used to use for demo cars. That was how i got the job at best buy i wasnt certified when i started, but when i saw the pay scale, and the dramatic increase, I figured wha the hell i better get my paper.

I am a Mecp advanced level installer working on my masters certification, and I was just wondering I work for Best Buy and the certifications are mainly for pay raises because you make a lot more if your certified. Anyway my question is how much does the certifications matter outside of buisness like Best Buy. I have looked at a lot of job opportunites and none of them really seem to care if your certified or not as long as you can install.

The topic is for everyone to express their opinion of what enclosure they like best and why they like it, every has a opion of what they like in every aspect of a installation down to the wire they use. I was just tryin to see what people like and why thats all. I build them both and I use both in my cars its really just depends on what you like.
