I still think hifonics are the best bang for buck, but overall I want a new amp someday, since Ive read that people have tested these for distortion and they start distorting at half watt output, and its audible at 2/3rd's output, it was in some topic in here but I forgot where.

well, if it was my truck I would have it loud, but I would make it so that i couldn't hear it while i'm just cruising on the highway, but once I get on it you'll hear me for a mile. Thats how my caddy was, i checked you could hear it for a mile, when floored.

O well thats not as bad but it still isn't very good to the engine, get a reverse flow muffler there loud but they keep the truck running right.

Is it a true straight pipe, thats bad for the engine if it is. Also my uncle modified his exhaust on one of his cars, so that when he wanted it loud he pulled a lever on the dash and it switched the pipe from a stock muffler to plain straight pipe.

ya my 140amp did, until I cooked it twice in 1.5yrs. its not the fact that I am drawing to much power, it is because the stock alternator isn't built for heavy loads, there not heavy duty. We had them re-do it the last time to heavy duty my current alternator, but that was my old car, so I gotta start over. I probably won't upgrade it until I cook the alt. Ya I Plan on doing that with my amp, but my projector recently died so I won't bother with that until I get my projector fixed.

besides deadener and a better amp than my hifonics 1610D there isn't much to do.

I paid her back in a week, and I plan on getting a job when I get my license in april. There are no jobs in my tiny village. Ive tried.

My 12" house speakers can hit down to 35hz easy, when the xcon isn't turned on it still sound like there is a small subwoofer in here from my 12 inch 100 watt house speakers, its just that the awesomeness of the xcon is too loud and it drowns out any mid bass, i have 2 equalizer hooked up to the speakers. Plus they don't sound as rich as the xcon, the xcon did great in a smaller box, maybe I gotta wait for the box audible customs is building me you guys should check it out, this enclosure is going to be great. i can't wait to get it. sorry, You guys rushed me so Zi just threw them up there, i'll fix them, but how do you like them, it doesn't do anything above 70hz but the deep notes rock on this. I wish it'd go to 90hz, I like my lower midbass super loud, and "12 50watt woofer can't do that.

I'm not asking how to shrink it, because it doesn't need to be shrinked, i am saying your site thinks it needs to be, I tried 3 times. I want to know why it won't let me put it on there when other people use the same kind of link i'm using with the same size result and yet mine doesn't work.

ok, I do ask in some topics, and I do read alot of topics on here. I have been learning a lot in my 5 years of car audio, the first 2 years I learned by myself, I guess i got used to forums now. I may seem like a noob to a lot of you guys since you are so experienced. But I am the smartest guy in car audio in my town, it is only a town of 721 ppl though. Everyone here thinks i'm a genius and they all agree my car is the loudest they have ever heard. When i know there is so much that is louder. But it is my goal to eventually go from my nice car stereo to a audiophile grade one, but no job keeps that at a slow pace. and there aren't any jobs here. Right now the only things of good quality is my ssa xcon, my enclosure that is currently getting built by audible customs and my polk momo 6x9's

sry I tend to skim along when i'm doing not so important topics. i am trying to learn i will get this right so your happy someday. I have read your rules, but one thing with me I have to learn everything very specifically and I like everything in an overkill amount of detail.

Well this was gonna be my temporary box for only 3 monthes so it wasn't a big deal to me, if this was gonna be my long term box I would got as many recomendations as I could, and I would of found a wood shop instead of using a jigsaw to cut everything. But the box is built and it sound pretty good givin the fact its poorly powered and in a house.

Some have been helpful, the one that helped me build my house box for my xcon, or the one where I showed my first box build which wasn't to bad for being my first. and I have made a couple helpful comments here and there.
