At higher excursion you get tinsel lead slap, but you have to have them turned up pretty loud. Lower volume's its fine. The reaason being is because whoever designed the terminals is an idiot. They put the + on one side and the - on teh opposite side. They left the tinsel leads to long. The leads come directly off the coil, not through the cone like most woofers. Thats why they hit.
