Dont blow it ! My 12o got plenty loud off 300W rms sealed. A guy who came to the so cal SSA meet had a 12a ported off a tsunami amp feeding it 1200 or so watts. It got pretty loud. Flat cones> RE cones. Gimme a week or so and i'll get the entasi in order and see what i can do with 1100W...muahahaha. It uses the tc9 motor, friggin beast at 30lbs.
  2. If someone makes a TL for one then im stealing the plans. Denim, flakko used that program for the eu700's he had. The enclosure sounded like poop. It didnt even sound ported.
  3. Pricing is a wee bit much for me. Even though i will have MUCH more power on tap that those will ever need.
  4. hehehehehehe my post was moved
  5. I got a crap ton of CA glue on my fingers when i was trying to glue the 90* elbows on the port for an enclosure
  6. Is the super glue dangerous or is the user just not paying attention
  7. Got up, got dressed and i had 5 min left before i had to go to work so i figured i would check whats posted on ssa and the stupid website wont work ! that is all

    again with the bed sheets....
  10. Nice touch with the pillow corey. Those SE's and SX's have some phatty pole vents. I bet it pounds
  11. Well lets just say that if you didnt look in the trunk and i didnt tell you you wouldnt know it was an 8 sealed off 200W
  12. All done Just need to cut the hole out for the sub. I'll prob go inverted since i dont have silicone for a wire hole P.S Its gonna look like a TCAB when im done.
  13. more like measure 5 times cut twice. The problem was i took off to much length because i forgot that the face and back run the full width of the enslosure and the top and bottom dont. simple mistake, just took off 1.5" more than i needed. I havent made an enclsure in a while so i got a wee bit rusty.
  14. just my luck, cut the face and back short....... So now i gotta drag the saw back and another sheet of wood that i didnt know i had so i couldve actually made a better encosure.. Oh well, at least i know i have scrap and dont have to use particle board.
  15. got er all cut, even though my fence was messed up. Now to clean it all up and nail it together.
  16. That last one is fun. Couple guys from a shop down the street get pizza from me all the time. I dont ask them much about car audio since they are on their break and would rather eat pizza
  17. oddly enough, the hick style made more sense...lol
  18. well, i just put the saw in the backyard. Thanks for the positive motivation. I also found one of dennis's old enclosures for his 8. To bad mine needs .1-3ft^3 more air space. And i'll have to invert it in that enclosure, people wont know its a type R
  19. Thats the thing...he wasnt crazy at all. Infact he was very polite and let me answer thh phone instead if just rambling on. Ive had some crazy ones but this guy wasnt one of em.
  20. If i feel like it i might drag the saw in the backyard and make my enclosure. prob wont happen though
  21. hey, not bad, not bad at all PM sent worlds first alpine type R 8 and a flat cone to boot !
  22. heh, have the "ghost" alpine logo in the backround.
