probably. 1500w is too much for a Q. the cooling should add 200-500 watts of power handling and it will still be set at -1db to -3db on the sub channel after its all set and done, and i can control my use of the vol knob.

the Q will be just fine. don't be so negative.

at 2 ohm's, also has cooling and spider.

i just hope the new setup is going to be as loud as my old set up.

dc resistance != impedance your final load is two ohms TY thats the answer i was looking for. sundownz told me to ignore that and just treat it as 2 ohm's. I don't need the wireing dieagram..... and the FI Q has .75 per coil so it does come out to 1.5 not 2.

Seting the gain, I run a saz-3000d just got a FI Q D1 wired in series, it comes out to 1.5 ohm load, there is no info for this ohm load for this amp.

any one know what i should set my saz-3000D for at 1.5 ohm's? or just set it for a 2 ohm load?

^this config seems to work. i may have been in the mind set of septate subs. sorry for noobing up the place.

yes dual 1ohm coils. works fine one coil at a time or in parallel. but i can not run at .5 ohms.

its hooked up like in pic 2. Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams, One 1 ohm Dual Voice Coil (DVC) Speaker there is no third wire. main pos in one coil then main neg in the other but i have also tried main pos and neg in one coil set then jumper wires to the second coil.

well after more screwing around with it, and a battery. hear are my findings. parallel = ok series = fail

well from help forum my normal form it sounds like my coils are out of phase... if i only hook up one coil at a time it plays just fine.
