One of my four had the spider separate from the basket as well . i got the glue you recomended jacob and it has worked so far but im hoping it will last. how much are recones gonna be just wondering? Other than that these little guys RIP!

MOunting depth is pushing it. and size is a little small. if you could try your hand at building a box yourself you could use a box about that size for just 1 SA-8 ported. thats what i would do. x2

Okay so Mine went into my 2000 GMC Sierra extra cab , Truck is deadened throughout, 250 amp alt and a yellow top, Cdt hd components, Cdt Audio 4100 amp mids and highs, and a SAZ-2000D running the 4 SA-8's in 3 cubes with two 4" aeroports right around 38hz box built by me. They PoUnD ! and much more sq than i was expecting out of them. ill post a vid soon , but id like to get them on a meter to see what it does.

not bad. my question is who do you live with . also you might wanna rethink your port area. its not in an optimal range. depending what you are trying to do i guess. you will have port turbulence. make sure you at least flare it because you have like 8 sq inches of port per. I do live with my parents so that helps not having to pay rent yet haha but as far as all the rest of my stuff i pay for. umm ya the ports i bought are the 4" flared aeroports. Its gonna be my daily setup but if you have any recommendations im completely open to try them. eastman, if you can add 1 more 4 inch port in there it would be perfect for daily. it would give approx 12.5 per. Wont 4 speakers with Dual 1 coils make .5 ohms, 2 ohms, or 8 ohms?? Wouldnt you need Dual 2 coils or Dual 4 to get 1 ohm load? Thanks for catching that steve mead , i did notice that i would need dual 2s but at first i planned on running 2 ohm load but now that im thinking again i realized there are only d2 and d4 coils available so idk what i was on when i said d1s in the first place haha sorry guys im sure i put down for d2s

Okay so i have four on order and i put down for D1 coils , i already have my SAZ-2000D and i'm wondering if I should run it on 2 ohm or 1 ohm for my daily setup. What Kind of power will the 2000d actually produce at 2 ohms? since its obviously underrated. Could the four sa-8's handle the power from the 2000d at 1 ohm ? And also I have a 200 Amp alt and and a yellow top

Gonna be running off of an Audioque 2200d and i was wondering the difference between the AA mayhem and the Fi btl 12's i see the different specs but i was wondering what people thought about each as ive never used either. and I know i can call AA direct but does anyone know the price on the mayhems? thanks.

Have you thought about putting resin the inside the box. Fiberglass resin?? because i am building the box with fiberglass and some mdf bracing and framework . do you think fiberglass is a bad idea?

hey jacob I ordered four already and ive slowly been building the box but its hard with school right now . but i was wondering if you think deadening the interior of the box would cause a gain in spl? i already have the rest of my truck deadened thanks.
