  1. Yeah, they are loud as fuck lol painful.
  2. Any ideas on what your planning on crossing them at?
  3. Problem fixed, amp was on low-pass.. switched it to high-pass, bingo Thank you Mark
  4. Team SSA kicked ass again I'd list the awards givin' out if i could remember all the names lol Will did an amazing job, took first in SPL and Drive by. He did 129.9 in drive by! Will also won more awards, forgot the names though. I took home Second in SPL and Drive by, my score aren't the best this show.. 150.6 in SPL, don't remember my Drive by, around 125 tho
  5. I have the upgraded version of that and i love it, i compete too and hit over 150dB and have no problems at all with it.
  6. Welding support beams or a fuck ton of sound deadener, not FatMat either.. good shit.
  7. http://www.dldesignz.com/services.html His name is Dustin and he's great at what he does.
  8. I decided against it. I thought a leaky box was better ( I do not mean this in a sarcastic tone only meant to be humorous, Sorry If it comes across that way. I know I haven't built any sort of relationship to where you'd see it as humorous and not sarcastic in nature, but I've read so many threads where y'all are joking around, I figure I can try at this whole online forums humor game) As to why there's no glue that was when I was just putting the box together for test fitting. I started work on screwing everything together first, so that I can take the screws out then glue it then screw it together without fumbling to drill out pieces while the glue is spreading everywhere. But i'm waiting on my mom to paint the box black before putting it together as the port will be unaccessible to paint once I'm done. I'm not quite sure if I'll like the black with a silver car. Any suggestions there? Black carpet is alway nice, paint on MDF just looks like shit unless a professional does it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure your mom can paint, what mom can't.. but carpet is a much better route. I do like how the black came out on my amp rack, It was very pretty IMO. So get some cheap thin black carpet from Lowes or something and staple it to the MDF? Even a local audio shop should have some speaker box carpet for sale. Get Spray on glue from Home Depot, 3M spray on glue.
  9. If that doesn't work, try this lol
  10. Most HUs can't put out enough voltage to cause most amps to clip with the gain set to minimum. And actually in the simplest of terms, the gain knob is precisely a volume control. DUN DUN DUN
  11. I know its rough as hell, but it has worked for the past 2 years..lol Im not sure of the weight but it hits the lows.. I tuned it to low and made the port to small.. only pulled off a 148.4 with it. running 2 old mtx 7801d amps.. Videos?

  13. From my understanding its vibrating so much its making a loose connection? The Velcro idea will still work cause it will hold it in place.
  14. You did use glue with your box right? I didn't see any dripping glue anywhere.
  15. They bottom out before i can reach my "max HU volume above" even with the littlest gain.
  16. Low pass, 80hz ~ 2500hz I say high because i see install after install where the AAs are playing at 50-60hz Yeah, that seems weird. What are you using to set them? the amp? Try running them full? Yeah, i'm using the amp.

  18. ? ? Set the gains on the 100.4 correctly. If it's not loud enough, that's all you have...... make a change. You said turn off my subs and set the gain to the volume level i want my subs.. my gain on my sub amp is fine and so is the level my subs play at. I know the AA's can get loud, i've gotten a demo of them before.. something is just fucked up here.. user issue, doubtful but possible
  19. It's already high, so i'm thinking it's something else causing the issue, like a vent in the door or somethin' of that nature. Not bashing your idea..
  20. The problem is when I turn the volume up on my head unit 3/4s the way the AAs seem like they're bottoming out really bad, the excursion is waaay past its limits and they sound like shit. I don't think i'm clipping my 100.4, the gain is almost all the way down and i have the electrical to back it up so they AAs aren't getting a dirty signal
  21. I don't think that'll work. ? Yes, wired correctly and they're only getting 100w with 1/4 gain.
  22. I'm ready, just waiting on a company to make me a dual alt bracket. I called Jacob and he gave me some advice, so time to get tweekin' Wish we were in the same boat Tjcurrents working on one? We talked about it many times.. but he still needs time.
