So you know about a Wall huh?
Cannot decide on equipment untill i know what i can fit. EDIT: and if i'm capable of getting the enclosure built, -- reason for making this thread. I don't want to be stuck with equipment and no home for them. BUT i do have one of the amps already

So you know about a Wall huh?
Nope, well.. not for audio. It's going to be my Daily Driver Show Truck. I have researched for a while, but most build logs i find aren't very descriptive, they say what they done, but now how or why. If you have any, PM me links Yeah thats what i think too.

Differences between sub sizes
Money adds up quick when you are modding your ride with high performance parts but a easy 40hp gain is replacing your engine fan with an electric one. EDIT!!!!: 10hp!

So you know about a Wall huh?
I have never done a wall before, and i am really interested in them. If its not too much trouble i was wondering if i could get schooled on them -- how to prep a truck for a wall, the do's and dont's, bracing, etc. etc. etc. I would like to become confident before going balls deep into this build and I don't want to be slapped in the face by how little i know half way into the build, ALSO i want to know what i am getting myself into before i start cutting. (ported, 10-20 cubes) i seen the build a wall build and it had a SHIT load of 2x4s.. would i have to do this to my truck? The truck will be a 1986 GMC Sonoma (S15) ext cab and the equipment is 2 or 3 (depending on how much space ill have) fully loaded 18" BTLS. The amps will most likely be AQ2200's.

Differences between sub sizes
This might not be what you want to hear but i don't think it'd be worth it. How much does your box weigh? - 250-350 pounds with sub?.. that's about two passengers. I don't think two passengers would make your car go slow. My 2 cents.

It'd probably be possible to have a seizure from all the vibration and noise.. imagine if your driving on the highway and that happens.. OR! You're sitting in your driveway and giving yourself a demo then you have a seizure and no one if there to help then your tongue blocks your windpipe..- PDX4.100 or AQ4x90

For 8's, i would of made em go underneath the back seats if possible, i have a truck and if i was going to set a box in the back on my seats like that i woulda gone with 15's. Other then that, i like it. A lot of roof flex.- You can't say this isn't weird/interesting.

Tomorrow i'm going to home depot to get some wood and other supplies to try to reenact what you did. Also going to try the dog bowl thing, i have to see what will look better.- Custom door panels for my GMC Sonoma!
So pretty much like this: Put the bowl upside down against the wood, glue the edge of the bowl to the wood then cut a circle out of the backside of the wood so the bowl isn't sealed off against the wood then, put mat, resin, dry, sand, mat, resin, dry, sand, body filler, dry, sand primer, dry, primer, dry, paint, dry, paint, dry, paint, dry, done? but with a dog bowl.. wouldn't it effect the sound waves? Do 6.5s really need a specific amount of air like a 12inch sub does, or would it sound good in any decent size encloser?- saz1500 schematic?

I've looked at the suede/vinyl stuff and they look nice Bedliner is nice too but the box is currently going into my back seat unitl i get a new vehicle (truck) and the bedliner may scratch up the doors and seats once it inside I would really like to have two tone carpet maybe black and white with that fi Carbon fiber Bomb logo but im not quite sure if it will come out as good as im thinking about having it, and if i do that then i might use the other sticker one they have with the mechanical gears on my amp rack Do it! Don't even think about it man, go out and get the box done.. the more experience the better.- 93 Fleetwood Caddy build.
Is this all the wood you are going to be using?- Is something wrong with my sub or my box?
