I know sometimes it can be a pain in the ass but you really do need to ground everything proper.. whats the point in doing it if its not done right? You can always just pick a spot.. get a flathead.. scrap the HELL outa the paint.. drill a hole.. get a bolt.. then BOOM! made your own ground

going to check the amp now.. YES it did get switched! the amp was on slave instead of master, will that be the reason for my problem?

i had 4 runs of 0ga in my S15 but i didnt run mine the way you are thinking, i ran mine threw the passenger side firewall and the under the carpet all the way to the back corner.. sliced an X and pulled the wires out from there... you couldnt tell/see/feel a hump where the wires where cause i cut an inch wide of foam out for each wire and just like "popped em in place" where the foam was cut out... ya feel me?

I know Alpine makes them, i dont know about the night vision one though.. or the price, but with your back up lights im sure the camera would be fine. You could try to splice in a light that turns on with your backing up and mount it on the bumper or something.. BUT check Alpine out.
