  1. Hi, I'm sort of new to this, I searched the topic but didn't find what I was looking for so please be patient. I've been away from car audio for 7 or so years, a lot has changed and I would like to learn. I'm in the infancy of planning my stereo, I'm planning on running ~1500-2000watts RMS, the vehicle in question is a 1994 3/4 ton Suburban with a 454, 105 amp (I believe) alternator. I definitely plan to upgrade the battery and my ground and use 0 gauge wiring, what exactly do I look for in a battery and at my power levels would it be wise to run a second battery? Furthermore, how exactly does one wire a second battery? Should I upgrade my alternator as well? Or if it was between one or the other what would you do? Sorry if these questions sound stupid but I have to ask and know instead of possibly making a costly mistake.
  2. I know how you feel. I took 5 yrs off once and was just wow'ed on how much I had to catch up on. Welcome to the site. Yeah, it's crazy, last time I was really into car audio there were just a handful of small companies, now the market is dominated by small companies, which I think is great. I'm a big fan of small business. I just can't believe how loud and how much power daily drivers are seeing now, it's unreal. I was hitting mid 140's back in the day and I thought I was king shit, haha I'm excited to start wasting money on a new stereo.
  3. Hi, my name is Mark, I was really into car audio up until about 7 years ago or so. Now I suddenly find myself interested in it again. It's kind of strange to see how much has changed, I feel like a total noob again but oh well. Either way, hi.
  4. I'd like 4, would an saz1500d be able to do .5 ohm daily? Also, I think I'm retarded but what should be added to an order for shipping?
