  2. Almost done with metal work on the gate (still need to weld the rollers on since it's a sliding gate). I'll have some pics later on when it's painted.

  5. That's how I felt every day biking to class. I would be riding around nice and calm and then just decide to start flying around campus. I would get to class dripping with sweat and then have to go to class. Hah, I always haul ass when going to work. And from time to time run up 4 flights of stairs. So I end up sweaty at the office

  8. A box so that my ass won't go too low ? For power squats (wide stance) I never ever go under 90*. A box to put your dick in, great relaxation for the back. Just make sure that you require her to do the work so you don't aggravate anything. That should be done laying flat on the back
  9. Below 305 my working weight ? I usually squat with 120lbs 10-12 reps and do power squats one week, olympic squats the other. One thing I don't want to over-work is my legs. Every time I'm on the bike it takes very little time to feel deep soreness in the quads. It's the only exercise which I do more than 6-7 reps.

Every time I do olympic squats and my hips go below knee level my lower back begins to round slightly. Reading about it seems it's because of tight hamstrings. Try turning your head up, and focus on keeping back straight. Head up every time and from time to time I peek in the mirror to see my back.

  13. I've been having this weird back pain for 1 week. It's very mild, a bit above the lower back and doesn't affect any movement, I only feel it when standing up or sitting down. I could go through 3 workouts with absolutely minimal discomfort my last squat reps. Weird ! Maybe I strained my back when doing jump-rope ? Or maybe it was from welding stuff on the floor all last week ?
  14. I've got yet another SPL build for a customer. It kills me that all my SPL builds were for people from out of town. So I manage to get 1-2 afternoons of testing and that's it. Crunching my head as to what option is best at this point as I've never done a burp box in a trunk car
  15. Ryan taught me the filler / resin mix trick and I use it every time I need to paint fiberglass as the first layer of filler. Much smaller batches than the guy in the link and more like 1:1 resin / filler mix, I don't want it dripping of the part.
  16. Short and intense workout today, only did dips, bent over rows and leg raises. And 30 minutes total mashing the bike to and from the gym. Freaking beat !

  18. Apart from the fact that I cannot push gobs of power to one (damn the car amps) I would love to run a pro-audio driver in SPL. I've been thinking about downgrading my setup, going with a stupidly modded class A/B and 2 10" pro drivers. 3 years with the same setup is slightly boring and with the scores now nobody wants to compete in my class
  19. For the past 2 afternoons I've been working on a new gate for the back yard. 6 feet tall, 13 feet long. Welding with the MIG is fun and I've learned a lot during this project. One more afternoon of metal work then another for installing polycarbonate sheets and then I will be able to say goodbye to the old, ugly gate.
  20. One day I'll drop the barbell on a douchebag at the gym. I'm done with a round of squats and ask a politely a guy to move so I can put the barbell on the rack. I had to ask 3 times before he moved.

  22. Just a FYI: 84-96 Cherokees use 5.25" speakers all around, 97-2001 should most likely have 6.5" speakers in the front doors.
  23. My grandmother used it over an open fire. Big freaking cast iron pot. And I found a smaller one, initially thought it's flimsy sheet metal but turned out it's also cast iron.
  24. That's a big ass pot you have. I have a big ole gulasch pot, I could boil 3 of those at one time.
