It's all for fun, trying to always out-do the previous score. And there's the fun of meeting up with people who share the same hobby. And customers = extra money, which is always good. I for one can't see the purpose of building setups with thousands of watts, walls, dozens of speakers in a daily driven car

Back from the competition, managed 1st place with 151.1 dB (2nd place was 145.x with some help from my flares) And the best part is, two of the cars I've built for SPL rocked the classes they ran and got first place by a big margin All in all a good competition. It's funny to see people's faces when they notice my car...12" sub, 10" diameter port...Some even said it looks weaksauce

Real tires would have helped. I can easily do that slope on high-range and no diff lock except a locking central diff. Quite possible do-able on rwd... And with as much power as that thing has it should have done the slope easily.

Reminds me of the Koreans and Japanese. Can't design either, but copy of course they are skilled at. I'd rather have a company copy themselves than their competitors. The Japanese cars from the 60-70-80's are the best example in that regard.

Theres a site very similar to ebay over here, I found 2 locals selling ipod nano's, find their email and when I go to contact them one of them was more concerned about how I found his email and the other said it's sold. Why the are people so stupid when it comes to selling stuff ?

Ah, I am pouring a sink/countertop and mixing the sand, rock and portland cement AND color which means I have to mix the living shit out of it. I don't own a wheel barrow either and have to have a big enough container to do it in one pour. Was hoping you had something clever that would relay to that Thanks though. I would advise you to get a concrete mixer in that case. I despise mixing concrete and would rather buy it ready for pouring or hire a mixer. Life is so much easier with a mixer. I was going to use the Vitamix. Actually I had thought a mixer was a good plan. Was hoping to not pay to rent it though. *out of curiosity since I will mix too much, what do you do with the leftover when you do that? I usually find a place for extra concrete around the yard. You won't mix way too much if mixers are the size of the ones here.
