Mileage
IMHO, if you want diesel, Cummins is the only way to go. And on an old Ram, with the 12 valve Cummins getting some decent power is simple and cheap.

the black and white, but I would get that way to dirty. Excellent work Adrian!!! We need to get some SSA drivers over there. It would be nice to get some here and in one of those installs. Sucks that both that install and the one I'm working on now have all the gear. GRRRR.. Thanks again for the kind comments !

Damn...what happened ? Normal order, processed, we paid for Sundown product, product shipped, product received, week or so transpires, claim of wrongful charge on CC submitted to paypal by customer, paypal yanks $390 from our escrow, I provide Paypal with tracking information and order info, claim sits in paypal dispute for 2 weeks, paypal rules in favor of claimant and we are out product and money. Fuckers. That's seriously effed up... What could you guys replace paypal with ?

What is this sub box?
Second one looks very much like a transmission line, and NOT a horn since the 'port' surface actually tapers down. THIS is a rear loaded horn:

Thanks ! There are a few details I really don't like (the curved trim panel fitment) but F'it, can't go back now. the black and white, but I would get that way to dirty. White is vinyl, I could clean it rather good with lacquer thinner.

That seems a bit expensive. I see them all over the place for $50, but I don't know about shipping them to you so that may up it some. Of course it may be more expensive since it has the attachments. Check this place for some really good stuff: EASTWOOD As for the compressor, what you really need to be concerned about is CFM. Tank size will only affect run time without the compressor kicking in. Compressor HP really only becomes a concern under load, which would only be an issue with constant use. A blasting tool will generally consume quite a bit of air, so try to make sure you have enough CFM to be at or above the tool's rating. Most people just look at the compressor/motor size and tank capacity. Then when they get home and want to use their tools, they get mad when their 80 gallon two stage compressor won't remove simple nuts or keep up with the air supply needed for a sander. I don't know how bad it is, but if you just want to clean it quickly and on the cheap, you can use a simple wire brush and a rust converting compound. That's what I'm using on my Buick's rockers, but I will be selling the car, so I won't have to worry about it for the rest of the vehicle's life. I'll have to check the CFM tomorrow. The spots are small and just surface rust but I want to get them done right before they get worse. So far I've found some good converting compounds too. The media blaster still looks like a purchase that would find other uses though... Eastwood has some nice blasters, now to see if they ship here Thanks for the link !

Ryan1, I'm back to rust removal... Thoughts on using this: http://cgi.ebay.com/SPEED-BLASTER-Hand-Held-SANDBLASTER-w-Sand-Recovery-Sys-/200581051589?pt=Sanders_Sandblasters&hash=item2eb38ff4c5 with an 8 gallon, 2hp compressor as the air source ? It's under the minimum recommended power.... I've found more rust spots at the rocker panel / floor panel seam and want to clean them. Nothing too aggressive for now.

Steve Meade's Clipping Tool
You already have some clipping tools....your ears. Play some square waves at low volumes then play some sine waves to train your ears a little.

I am so surprised I almost fell of my chair. /sarcasm Do you have some blinds on your eyes ? How would you feel about getting lied to, losing both an amp and money ? If things would get handled and this would really be a drop in an ocean, no problem but the dude has a history of scamming...you can't go back and delete that.
