  1. Douchebags abound..
  2. Happy Birthday !
  3. An Alpine 9887 would solve that and separate L/R x-over but still no separate L/R EQ as far as I can tell...
  4. Screaming. $200 is reasonable. One of the best headunit ever IMO. If it would only have tweeter highpass that can go lower than 1.25kHz Hmmm...can it be disabled ? the Eclipse can highpass from 30 to 300hz so it would work perfect... IIRC it has an all pass, as well, but perhaps that requires you all pass all channels. That is why it is only one of the best, if it was more capable of running a full ranger and midbass then for a 2 way it would be the choice IMO. You can't imagine how many times I bitched at my Alpine that it doesn't have a separate L/R level for each of the outputs. Just balance...
  5. By Eclipse I mean my 4 channel amp...
  6. Testing? Not at all. Could even use them in car that way, but it will be a big box... Yeah, I thought about that, big box in the footwells. Not going to fly, although it would be absolutely delicious. Given the fact that it's snowing, I gave up cutting a test bos Those take to a ported box rather nicely as well, but then it really gets big Hand operated clutch, brake and throttle + nobody in the passenger seat
  7. But that darn Pioneer interface...

  10. 1/4" is plenty for cutting circles. Ever since my straight cut bit broke, I switched to a shortened and slightly modified drill bit. It works similar to an up-spiral bit just that the cut edges aren't perfect
  11. I've got a pair of SLS8's waiting to be installed in a friend's car and I'm curious to hear them in my car. Obviously they don't fit without angle grinder work. Any cons to testing them in a sealed box ?
  12. Buy it for me and ship it here
  13. I've been romping the mud terrains ever since I got them...can't wait to get some "slicks" for road duty... When on road do you notice the lugs rounding individually on yoru front tires? I'll check tomorrow. Didn't seem to wear weird...
  14. Happy 20 !

  16. Wow, nice catch, I could not remember where I new that car from. Countless hours of my childhood spent playing NFS 2 in splitscreen. It's a miracle my keyboard still works...
  17. Haven't seen one of those ever since I played NFS 2
  18. Damnit, "unfixable" Zapco 750 pops up on ebay, 1 day left and it's already at $15. I just hope it won't go over $50...
  19. Have you ... ummmm...read the recommendations ? Not trying to be an ass but your plan doesn't sound too cost effective.
  20. crapshitfuck describes it well. Good luck sorting it out. We want pixorez quick ! ! ! I know they are shitty, but cell phone for now more better later when I am not driving illegally with a photocopied temporary tag. Where I like to go gets patrolled hourly.
  21. Old-school Torsen'd Quattro's are nice
  22. I put 1/2 quart extra so far. Checking the level tomorrow. Bumper definitely goes on, I just had to cut a notch to fit the top hose and need to spray some paint over the notch. It will also get some kind of vent for extra air flow. Next project...making room for an air-water intercooler core.
  23. Finally installed the oil cooler Only took a small 5mi drive to warm up things and check for leaks but the oil didn't get over 140F
