  1. The gp3k is imo the only amp worth looking at in the line-up. Very similar to the AB 200.1
  2. Second time I'm selling a Lightning audio 2000w monoblock and both times some retards starts spewing up shit that the Helix 1700w mono is better. First time that it's more powerful and second time that it has better "SQ". Ahem, sq...2000w...the helix bandwagon is strong around these parts... Wish I could reach out of the computer screen and bitchslap them.
  3. Good cough med with codeine helps for sleeping Fack, should have bought some when in Europe. Didn't even think about it. Did you say you want something from Europe ? Don't think its so safe to send drugs True

  5. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=279-179 ??Maybe?? Way too spendy. And these are better. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=275-030 FWIW, I have Peerless silks (forget the model number) in my surrounds at home and I like them better than the Dayton Classics that I have up front in my LCR channels. But then again I have not listened to either driver in question. I like Dayton products as well, don't get me wrong. Different price bracket. The HDS tweet is probably my favorite "budget" tweeter, but in the range of price that Mike is looking at the ND is really a great buy. The HDS is teh awesomeness. Those along with the ca18's and the soundcard are the best money I spent on my home stereo.
  6. I so want to do that right now. But things are going a bit better. Only a bit.
  7. Any more info on this? Credit goes to : http://www.webx.dk/oz2cpu/pcmod/fan-reg.htm Ditch the rpm output / input. Add a radiator for the mosfet (the one on my board gets pretty hot before the fans start). Still have some adjusting to do, now the fans start when the amp turns on and they move as slow as possible. Once I get a radiator on the mosfet I'll set it so that the fan starts at 40-50deg C. Took me a couple hours to set up everything. Much lower noise level. You should post a build thread in the HA section so I don't have to ask where this is in the future. I'll open it up for some mods and post a build log then. Not too much to post about it now in a build log
  8. You will want to connect to the aux input of the W200, not directly to the H701. Not sure if the w200 has aux video to use your laptop to play movies though.
  9. Isn't the Audiopipe rated at 2 ohms ? Flip a coin, really. All of them are around the same power level. Give or take several houndred watts which won't matter when listening to music.
  10. Off too bed. Drank a little too much tonight.
  11. I will snap so pics tonight. I didnt know you all liked the qsc pron! Please do
  12. ^ Good job pengiun
  13. I think I have found the bike that will eventually replace my moped Aprilia SX 50. Still a small engine but it's got a 6 speed gearbox. Watercooled, carbed 2 stroke. Small bike, not much wider than the moped.
  14. Here are the circuits. Out of the amp untill I'm done with adjusting.
  15. I'm still drooling over plx's. Wish I could have snatched a 1.4kw mono that was on ebay.de some time ago *sigh*
  16. Exactly why I did this mod, it drove me crazy. Plus I too never use the amps at their full potential. Don't have too much faith in thermal overload protection. Most of the times the resistors are too far from the mosfets. But you have qsc's which are badass from the get-go.

  18. Finishing up the temperature variable speed control for the home amp fans. I can finally have some peace and quiet when listening to music. These rack amps were noisy.
  19. Heard the very same "ting" sound on another subwoofer and it was because of impropper use. Exceeded the limits of the suspension and the spider began to separate from the coil. Get the pics hosted, I'm curious
  20. i did but you see everyone putting there 2 cents in it You are the one always bringing it up.
  21. Hmm, nigerian scammer emailed me today...do I want the 10million dollars he offered me or not ? Guess now it's my time to try and have some fun with him.
  22. LB truely is an idjit. Done reading the topic
  23. I don't mean to be critical, but that one picture, wow that is a rinky coil. Yes, I know every driver has a different purpose and design yadda yadda, but umm how about dialing in some DAF? Neah, it's UPS's fault. He never bottomed it out
  24. Front chambered coupling chamber rear loaded folded crabshell second order acoustical enclosure. I love the spray paint on the terminals. Makes me feel stupid reading the brain masturbation on box designs... Ported box design is rocket science.
