Welcome to the IHoP
FUCK noise. I've got an install to finish up for a girl and all of the sudden the mother of all noise starts when connecting the rca's. Everything was fine when I first connected the gear (2 amps, run off the mill pioneer hu), yesterday her systems shuts off, after 1 hour I found out the original grounding point was shit. Changed that, connected everything and yay, noise. Ran a wire from the battery to the amp grounds and the noise is there. Going to try the fabulous pioneer rca fix and try a good grounding point for the hu. Any other things I can try, please shoot.

Sander's BMW E34
If you are trying to make me jealous it, it...its working! 1740 US smackers is crazy. I would grab it up in a heartbeat lookin as clean as that. Probably not too practical to have three cars to myself though! Haha. That's how the prices are in Europe

Ouch
I don't mean to be rude, 2 years after studying EE and you call mosfets 'black pieces' ? I'd just send it in to repairs. Usually there are some other things that go along with the mosfets.

Welcome to the IHoP
nice little 1300% mark up. nice padding if I do say so. Don't u know they are just diong their best to stimulate the economy?? I wonder how many people have paid that price do u think, just because they are the dealership? Alot of people, I bet. I got raped 2 times on some parts. Untill somebody sent me a link to the parts catalogue. Told them the price on ebay, they tried to make me an offer and convince me shipping is going to cost and bla-bla-bla. Same thing with the hydraulic pump. Should be ~$1100 shipped here (should be here next week) and they want $3500 for the same pump.

Information and Reviews on RE MT 12"
They are SPL oriented subs. The specs aren't shown because there are different combinations of spiders and coils. What do you plan to use them for ? Daily driving ? SPL-only ?

I'm such a newb.
That idea is pointless, reminds me of just throwing speakers in the car and praying it works. Just to give you an idea, I've set up a 3-way which was 50-150hz (midbass), 200-3.6khz (mid) and 4khz up (tweeter). Absolutely not saying you will have these crossover points as they depend on too many factors, like driver selection, location, vehicle, personal tastes. " And I believe the MLI's do down to around 60 HZ also on a larger amp." This is WRONG. More power = more excursion. Cross it lower and it will bottom out at some point. Low frequency extension isn't going to be determined by the amount of power you apply. The KX3 does not have all the processing abilities to do a 3-way front stage. You need highpass and lowpass for the midbass, highpass and lowpass for the midrange and highpass for the tweeter. Doing a 6.5 in the kicks is a bad idea. Get the 4 in the kicks if you really want to. But for the ease of doing something, go with what lithium said. 2-way active, mli's in the doors, tweeters in the a-pillars. Much less things you can screw up.

btl 18''
With 4 18's and over 10000w of power I bet you don't want sq, you just want it to be loud and that's that. Sq and such figures really shouldn't be in the same phrase.

lighting bolt in side my amp loud snap pop sound
Check the remote voltage. Also, double check the sub wiring to see if it's not wired by accident at 0.5 ohms. I think you shouldn't need to try a diferent head unit but try one just in case.

Punctuation is your friend. I couldn't understand a word except the fact that your protect light comes on then goes off. You won't get any help if people can't understand what you are typing.

Audiopipe AQX3500.1... anybody test them yet?
IIRC they just got out a model that is identical to the RD 3250.1 V2, I can never remember all the model numbers. Zenon board, rather similar to the AB200.1 in layout and part count. Not sure if the AQX is the new model.
